I apologize that this article will be late, but I am in the beginning of a bad cold, and you know what makes anyone feel better? Comfort food. That being said, here are four area restaurants I have sampled recently that I wholeheartedly recommend.

1. Egg Harbor Cafe

We came here with a dear family friend of ours before heading down to the Fox for a performance of The Lion King. They serve breakfast, brunch, and lunch from 6:30 am to 2 p.m. every day. We went to the East Cobb location, but there are also locations in Buckhead, Johns Creek and Sandy Springs. The decor and the food are both fantastic, and the wait staff fast and helpful. Bonus: they also have several gluten-free options.

2. Jusgo Supermarket and Food Court

This combination supermarket and food court is a hidden gem of the Duluth area. While the focus of the food court is regional Chinese, it also houses a Korean barbeque, a sushi place, and a Thai ice cream parlor, among others. After you are done eating, you can amuse yourself browsing the wide selection of Asian produce, beverages, and meats, (including live frogs)! Visiting is an experience.

3. Gus's Fried Chicken

This place has locations all over the United States, including Chamblee, where I met a friend to celebrate his birthday. I had heard all sorts of praise for this chicken, and I can safely say it is 100 percent merited. It was so good that

my friend ordered an entire extra meal to go. It has to be tasted to be believed.

4. Bai Tong Thai Resturant

We dropped in for a late lunch about two weeks ago, and though there were five people there and it was 15 minutes till closing, they served us generous portions with a smile as quickly as they could. They close at 3:00 and reopen at 5:00.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
