This has been a big debate since e-books came out and were popular. Which is better having a physically printed book or having an e-reader and I sit here eating my ramen I realize that I have enjoyed both reading a printed book and an e-book on my kindle. I am friends with many avid readers that enjoy reading different books than me. These friends read their favorite books in many different ways. Many of them choose to read a printed book only while others choose to read with a kindle or nook. Here are five reasons that a printed book is better than an e-book.
1. YOU HAVE THE ACTUAL BOOK IN YOUR HANDS
Many people don't want a to have the printed book because they can cost so much, but going to a thrift store or any second hand store you can find a good book for a low price. Not only that you have a book physically in front of you. You can see one side get bigger while the other side gets smaller and you can smell the newness of the book.
2. It's easier to throw when you get frustrated
We all have those books that make us want to Hulk out. Hulking out is a lot easier to do when you have the actual book. You can't Hulk out when you are reading from your kindle. Throwing a book that makes you have all sorts of emotions is a lot less damaging when it is paper not technology.
3. The satisfaction of having the ACTUAL book
Having the actual book in your hands makes you feel as if you are in the world or worlds that the story takes place in. You can look back and forth through the pages with ease. If you use a kindle or nook you have swipe so many times just to get back to the page you wanted to be at.
4. You always feel like you are in your own personal library
Whenever i am in my room and i look up onto my shelves and see my books i feel right at home the same way i do whenever i am in a library. Having your own little library makes you feel accomplished knowing that those books on the shelf are yours and no one else's
