1. You don't need to bring money.
Paying for an all-inclusive resort everything there is free at the resort besides additional materials such as souvenirs. All dining, all clubs, bars, room-service is all paid for. It is so nice to be a college student wake up, call room service and order two bottles of champagne to start your day off. Take a shower to sweat out the alcohol from the previous day and once your dressed, the bottles are there and you can bring them to the beach and start raving. The restaurants are also amazing, the food was incredible with a wide range of restaurants we could choose from. From Italian, Hibachi, French, Mexican, etc.
2. The Booze
I went to a resort my company paid for in the Dominican Republic where about two-hundred college kids were able to drink for free. It was nice, real nice, words cannot express how amazing the whole experience was. At the resort they had swim up bars, beach bars, clubs and two bars inside. The swim up bar was obviously the go to. I brought my Gopro and had a lot of fun there swimming around and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Some of the fruity drinks were watered down a bit but it did not matter because you could order as many as you want. Pina Coladas, Margarita, Mojitos, etc. But the best drink in the Dominican had to be Mama Juana, which for the day I thought they were saying Marijuana. Nope, Mama Juana is an amazing drink which has red wine, rum and honey soaked in native tree barks and let me say it was quite enjoyable.
3. The Hangovers
While these may not be amazing, it is part of the experience for most college kids. Do be warned after the first few days of partying this will happen and creep up on you. The best way to avoid this is not to drink sugary drinks the whole time, which I did. I threw up 7 times from hangovers. Just pace yourself it’s a marathon not a sprint but my god did I run a hundred meter in 3 seconds.
4. The Excursions
You’re at a resort and want to enjoy some more local attractions, that’s where excursions come into play. They do cost money but gives you an opportunity to enjoy the island outside of the remote. We went to club inside a cave called Imagine which was breathtaking and Coco Bango which is a Circus Solei type club where they had shown and people acting as famous musicians and scenes from movies such as Batman and Tron. Again both these clubs did have open bars. Also if you are smart it is quite easy to sneak into the clubs, I did for both which saved me about a hundred bucks. Just be confident and say you already paid to the people on the bus. We also went on Dune Buggys which were an absolute blast. We visited a cool underground cave where we can swim and an amazing beach with a variety of local characters. Some other excursions you could do is go on party boats, SCUBA dive, Parasail and many more.
In the end, find your way to an all-inclusive resort.
