Before I begin this list, I would like to make very clear that I appreciate the Longwood FAB (Farmville Area Bus) service. It means that I don't have to walk a mile every day to school, which is pretty cool. However, like any ungrateful millennial worth their salt, I do wonder why it's so late while I wait outside in thirty-nine, maybe even eighteen-degree weather. I'm sure most Longwood students wonder the same thing, so I've compiled a list of possible reasons.
1. The driver is tired.
2. They stopped at McDonald's.
3. There was a line at Cookout.
4. There was ~somehow~ a traffic jam in Farmville.
5. There was a deer in the road.
6. Somebody forgot their Longwood ID.
7. People ran out in front of the bus to catch the bus, forcing the FAB to wait for them.
8. There was a detour to Macados.
9. Bikers heading for the High Bridge Trail made them stop.
10. The weather was bad.
11. There was a really great song on the radio.
12. A student was trying to eat on the bus.
13. They were switching out drivers.
14. Someone actually tried to enforce the seatbelt rule.
15. Somebody left their backpack at the bus stop.
16. There was a UFO abduction.
17. Somebody lost their cell phone on the bus.
18. Somebody lost their wallet on the bus.
19. There was an impressively long red light.
20. They had to stop and wait out a solar eclipse.
21. There was a really funny meme everyone had to see.
22. Somebody tried the tide pod challenge on the bus.
23. A small animal was discovered on the bus.
24. There was a supervillain on the roof.
25. There was a huge debate on the bus.
26. Somebody called the school "Norwood."
27. What appeared to be a road was actually a field.
28. Someone is driving their cattle through town.
29. The bus needs gas.
30. There was an attack of flat earth conspiracy theorists.
31. There was a parade.
32. It was just running behind.
33. Somebody was performing the entire soundtrack to Hamilton and the driver had to hear the end.
34. There was mud on the road.
35. Nobody's perfect.
36. The bus isn't able to go more than 3 MPH.
37. It's family weekend.
38. They took a break to go to Java City.
39. They missed a turn.
40.Why did the chicken cross the road...to delay the FAB!
