Every December, women everywhere excitedly anticipate the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which is basically another holiday to add to the December calendar. I think almost as many diets are started the day after the fashion show as New Years Day because of the models unrealistically perfect bodies. This year's show will include performances by Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding, and The Weeknd. Prepare yourself ladies, it's going to be an emotional night.
Here are 34 thoughts women have while watching the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show:
1. YAYYYY! It finally started.
2. Wow they are beautiful.
3. Can I look like that?
4. Okay... This is a little too much to handle.
5. Seriously... can there be one that looks like me?
6. How does she walk with those giant wings on?
7. Seriously those things are bigger than her.
8.. WHY IS SHE SO PERFECT!?
9. Its fine... I'll just sit here and eat ice cream.
10. Should I order a pizza?
11. No. Spit that ice cream out..
12. I am starting my diet tomorrow.
13. Do you think if I run for a week straight I could look like that?
14. Does she know what food tastes like?
15. Eh who am I kidding, I should order a pizza.
16. This music is honestly fantastic.
17. But why does that bra cost a million dollars?
18. What is it made of? Rainbows and pure gold?
19. Some of these models are my age...
20. What am I doing with my life?
21. Hey! I am just as pretty as them!
22. Ha. Good joke.
23. Lesbehonest...
24. How are her boobs so perky?
25. Okay... this needs to end. I'm gonna cry.
26. I should look up gym memberships after this.
27. Or maybe salad recipes.
28. WOW I WANT THAT BRA.
29. Nope, not that one, too much glitter.
30. Wait it's almost over?!?!?
31. NOOOOOOOO.
32. Well, better start prepping for next year.
33. By this time next year, I will look just like that.
34. *Cries into empty ice cream bowl*
This fashion show is one of my favorite nights of the year, although it does hurt women's self-esteem a bit. That is why it is important to remember that the bodies these women have are unrealistic expectations to have and that we should love ourselves for who we are. We are all beautiful, powerful women and should remember that and try to not hold ourselves to the standard placed by these women. Love yourself and happy watching, ladies!
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will air Tuesday December 8th at 10/9c on CBS.
