31 "Would You Rather?" Questions That Are Easier To Answer Than "Who Are You Voting For?"

With election day right around the corner, politics seem to be consuming all of our everyday conversations. Put your political opinions aside and talk about something new for a change. You probably can't agree on a candidate, but you might agree on the answers to a few of these questions.

Would you rather...

1. Only be able to whisper or only be able to shout?

2. Wear a snow suit in the desert, or be naked in Antarctica?

3. Never be able to open your mouth or never be able to close your eyes?

4. Have a beautiful house and ugly car, or an ugly house and a beautiful car?

5. Always get first dibs or the last laugh?

6. Be born with an elephant trunk or a giraffe neck?

7. Have everyone know the details of your finances or the details of your love life?

8. Share a cubicle with a noisy colleague or a nosy colleague?

9. Use eye drops made of vinegar or toilet paper made from sandpaper?

10. See into the future or change the past?

11. Have a song stuck in your head forever or dream the same thing every night?

12. Be completely forgotten or hatefully remembered?

13. Have a missing finger or an extra toe?

14. Fight Mike Tyson once or talk like him for the rest of your life?

15. Not be allowed to wash your hands for a month or your hair for a month?

16. Always talk in rhymes or sing everything you speak?

17. Eat rotten cheese or rotten eggs?

18. Wake up with a different face but same gender, or a different gender but same face?

19. Be invisible or be able to fly?

20. Have no knees or no elbows?

21. Be able to hear any conversation or take back anything you say?

22. Always lose or never play?

23. Travel 100 years into the future or 100 years into the past?

24. Have all of your emails for the next two months made public to everyone or have your texts read by your parents?

25. Have a freakishly huge smile or a freakishly small nose?

26. Have super powers or have Christmas everyday?

27. Be attacked by a giant snake or an angry piranha?

28. Be a giant hamster or a tiny rhino?

29. Go without television or junk food for the rest of your life?

30. Have a paralyzing fear of heights or be afraid of water?

31. Always have to say everything you are thinking or never speak again?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
