It's that time of the year again; the time where summer break is over and fall semester is about to begin. The only thing on college kid's minds is dorm/apartment move in. With only a couple more days at home, usually, we are in a panic of what to pack and how many days till move in. Here are some thoughts I, and probably every college kid, have during this time.

1. Boxes or bins?

2. Well if I bring bins, I have to store them and they take up room.

3. I'll do a mix of the two.

4. Where did all of my clothes go?

5. And my shoes?

6. How many sweatshirts is too many?

7. Does it even get that cold/hot to wear this?

8. Should I bring the TV this year?

9. I need new clothes.

10. I hope all of this fits in my dorm/apartment.

11. I know I had more socks than this.

12. I can do this all the week before I leave, right?

13. Probably not, but I'm going to try.

14. What do I do with all of the little stuff?

15. I need wall décor.

16. No! no more décor!

17. Am I close to being finished?

18. Nope. I haven't even packed my bathroom stuff!

19. I wish someone else could do this for me.

20. I made a list, but I just keep adding stuff to it.

21. It's never-ending.

22. I'm going to take a LONG nap after this.

23. It didn't seem this stressful last year.

24. I'm not bringing the TV.

25. I know I'm going to forget something.

26. I wonder if __ has finished packing.

27. Or even started.

28. You know what, I'm just going to pack what I know I'll need.

29. I can always grab the rest at Thanksgiving or Christmas.

30. Wait, how is all of this going to fit in my car?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
