Spring break is over and done with, which means now that we don't have very many weeks of the spring semester left. Exciting right?! I know that I am struggling to keep focusing on school work, but know I have to. At this point in the semester professors expect us to kick everything into high gear, but as college students, we know in reality that we start to want to give up. Finding motivation to keep pushing through school and completing assignments is a hard task, especially when there are only a few weeks left in the spring semester. I am sure that a majority of us have a countdown going as of to how many more days, weeks, and Mondays we have left! Here are 30 thoughts that all college students have towards the end of the spring semester:

1. "How many more weeks do we have left?"

2. "How many more days do we have left?"

3. "I don't think I can sit in this class any longer"

4. "Do I really need to go to class?"

5. "I don't care what I look like anymore"

6. "I can't wait until summer"

7. "How many more exams do we possibly have left?"

8. "Wonder what day the final is for this class"

9. "I can't do this anymore"

10. "Is it Friday yet?"

11. "Do you think my professor will notice if I skip class today?"

12. "How many more chapters could we possibly have left?"

13. "Can I just drop out yet?"

14. "I just want to get through the day without crying"

15. "What is the point of this class?"

16. "All of my professors are cramming in as much work and as many papers as they can"

17. "That paper we talked about a month ago, yeah the due date is coming up FAST"

18. "I can't believe I have a final on the last day of finals week"

19. "It is going to take me forever to pack everything up that I need to take home"

20. "I can't wait to be back home with all my friends and family"

21. "I am going to miss my college friends this summer"

22. "I just want to sleep all day"

23. "Wonder how many more prints I have?"

24. "It is FINALLY Friday!"

25. "Can we just skip finals for the spring semester?"

26. "Wonder if having class outside is an option"

27. "Does attendance hurt my grade in this class?"

28. "Where is the fast forward button?"

29. "Why can't we have a "mini spring break"?"

30. "The weeks keep getting longer"

There you have it, 30 thoughts that almost of college students begin to think about towards the end of the spring semester. I know that you can at least relate to thinking about 10 or more of these on a daily basis! I find myself doing it all the time, actually about every hour of every day! Just keep telling yourself "I can do it!"

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
