30 Of The Best Hangover Cures That Aren't Gatorade

A hangover is defined as, a severe headache or other after effects caused by drinking an excess of alcohol. Many of us college students wake up with hangovers quite often. After a night out drinking you are almost guaranteed to have headaches, stomach aches, etc. Depending on what you over indulged in, your hangover can range from very mild to feeling like you are on your deathbed. Preventing hangovers is pretty difficult in college because going out is something you are doing multiple times a week.

Here are a few hangover cures that have worked for me in the past:

The Birthplace of Basketball

The NBA Playoffs are here. It’s kind of funny that my history kind of started out in the same place that basketball’s did too.

Basketball was originally created by James Naismith, a Presbyterian minister who taught P.E. at YMCA in Springfield, Massachusetts. He invented the new game to keep the young men occupied inside during the winter. The rest of the rules he made up in about an hour.
