I'm not the kind of person that ever gets addicted to a game that I download onto my phone or keeps it for a period longer than a few days. That all changed when I downloaded Pokemon Go. Some may say that I've just conformed to the most recent fad, but I beg to differ. The sole reason I downloaded the game is because it brought me back to my childhood. It brings back some of my fondest memories, and I won't let anyone judge me for that. Even though the game malfunctions sometimes, I still love it. It's the only game I've ever downloaded and not wanted to delete. I'm excited to say that Pokemon Go has brought great things to the world and is breaking the mold. So, here are three Ways Pokemon Go is breaking the mold:

1. Pokemon Go ACTUALLY makes you go.

Pokemon Go actually requires people to lose their seat and move their feet in order to play. Yes, you can catch Pokemon anywhere, and you can find Poke Stops and Gyms by driving around. However, there are many Poke Stops, Pokemon and Gyms that cannot be reached unless you find them by foot. That's one of the many things I love! I get my steps in while playing a game that brings me back to my childhood!

2. Pokemon Go promotes mental health.

People have reported that Pokemon Go has helped with depression and other mental health disorders. It's been said that going outside and moving around are two things that can help promote mental health. That's just what Pokemon Go is getting people to do: go outside and move. It "tricks" you into going outside and improving your mental health. It literally provides a fun way to get people moving!

3. Pokemon Go brings people together.

There are people arranging meet ups all over the U.S., including people in Chicago, IL. They planned an event at the Lincoln Park Zoo to catch Pokemon together. How cool is that? There's even small towns that are participating in all the fun, like Cleveland. There's a Poke Stop at our local restaurant, Hey Joe's. It's bringing people together in the best and most unusual ways!

I don't care who you are or what you think about it, Pokemon Go is truly bringing change to the lives of everyday people! I don't know why, but I truly never expected this game to be this big. But I'm glad it is! People are getting up and moving! We're getting our steps in while playing a game that brings us together. Pokemon Go really has broken the mold. If it's brought this much to the world in this short amount of time, just imagine what else it can do!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
