3 Perfect Quarantine Games

Are you bored and tied of doing the same thing every day? Here are some fun games you can play with friends and family remotely. Protip: Zoom while playing these games for maximum fun.

Skribbl.io

Skribbl.io is basically pictionary, but online. You can play with up to 8 players, which can be anyone from around the world. You can also create a custom game and send the link to whoever you want- friends or family- for a fun time. Skribbl.io consists of rounds where each player draws out their word and other players type their guesses in the chat box until they get the right one. This game also allows for custom words, which can make playing so much more fun and specific to the group you are playing with.

Psych

Psych is a party game on the app store created by Ellen DeGeneres and her team. It consists of different packs, one being a set with prompts involving players. For instance one of the prompts might be: "What is (persons' name) most likely to do on a Friday night?" All players can type their answers and everyone votes on the funniest or best one. Other packs consist of questions where everyone writes an answer and there is a single correct answer, so the motive of this pack would be to guess these correct answers among the fakes. This game is extremely fun to play with friends and family and can also be played remotely. To spice up the game, I like to make a funny psych face, which is the face other players see when they choose your answer.

Photo Roulette

Photo Roulette is another great app on the app store that you can play with others. It is a spin on Russian Roulette and essentially consists of pictures from each player's camera roll. The objective of the game is to choose the correct player when each picture comes up. If you're worried about pictures in your camera roll, Photo Roulette has you covered! It allows you to accept or reject groups of pictures at a time so you know exactly which pictures will be played in the game. This game can be very funny and interesting when played with friends and family, and is perfect for quarantine!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
