Whenever we are struggling in life and things aren't going well as you wanted. Maybe it's "that time of the month" or maybe school is stressing you out. Heck, maybe you're alone and want friends to be with. You've hit empty on the give-a-hoot meter and rather than being allowed to have that restful recharge, you were bombarded with questions of potential boyfriends, potential grades, and potential plans for the future of your life. Don't fret, you're not the only one low on the potential scale of life. We all snap here and there, and perhaps, there and there too!

Here are some fetch life lessons from the popular movie "Mean Girls."

1. Spending time with your friends is healthy and important

No one should ever be alone

2. Always be open to expanding your vocabulary

Even if you can't make fetch happen (although it should).

3. But also, be sure you know HOW to use said vocabulary properly

Please use them correctly and within context.

4. Don't be afraid to speak your mind

Don't bottle things up.

5. Break down boundaries

Don't let boundaries get the best of you.

7. Realize there will ALWAYS be haters

Haters gonna hate!

8. Be a leader, not a follower

March to the beat of your own drum.

9. Keep it real

Always keep it honest, classy, and real.

10. Pursue your passions

Shoot for the stars!!

11. It's OK to show your emotions

Let out all the feels. Show them how much of a real man/woman you really are!

12. In dire situations, it's OK to name drop

Just don't name drop often. I don't think you wanna deal with my BFF Beyonce!!

13. Feel free to call out the liars and the cheaters of the world

They need to be revealed to the world!

14. When in doubt, get cheese fries

Cheese fries are a must! They're so delicious!!

15. Make the rules, don't just follow them

If a certain rule doesn't go your way, make your own and follow your path!

16. There IS such thing as TMI

Some things are best kept to yourself.

17. Don't spread rumors about other people...

18. ...or at least don't get caught

Just make sure karma doesn't come back to bite you.

19. It only counts if you see nipple

Nothing else counts unless you see a nipple.

20. Never shy away from asking the important questions

Even if the questions are outrageous, they should be asked.

21. It's never too late to apologize

Unless you're Justin Bieber, it's never too late to say sorry.

22. Always come equipped with a quick, sassy comeback

They are always necessary in a conversation.

23. Stop name calling

It only makes things worse. (By the way, Tina Fey slays this role)

24. Solve the problem in front of you

It's right there in front of you. You can't miss it. Just solve the problem and things will get better from there.

25. And most of all, stop trying to make fetch happen

It won't happen at all. Nope.

Enjoy life to the best of your ability. Just make sure Cady doesn't push you towards the bus, then you should be okay! Stay grool, everyone!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
