With the holidays approaching and secret Santa parties beginning, you may be lost when it comes to gift ideas. A few of these items may be at the top of any college student's wishlist.

1. Scarves

As it gets colder, you can never going wrong with buying a stylish blanket-scarf.

3. Starbucks Giftcards

Not having to spend our own money on our coffee needs is a college student's dream.

5. Stickers

Whether it's for a water bottle or a laptop, it's nice to have stylish stickers of our favorite things as decoration.

6. Candles

Lets be real, our rooms are a mess and definitely could use a candle to make it smell better.

A simple yet important item, you can never have too many nail polish colors.

8. Throw Blankets

Being able to cuddle under a blanket and watch Netflix is ideal.

9. Pajamas

10. Flannels

A stylish flannel can be paired with any shirt we throw on for class.

11. Makeup

A great gift for someone who loves doing their makeup, but doesn't love spending money on it.

12. Water Bottle

Whether it's a Nalgene, a Camelbak, or a S'well, we can never have enough water bottles.

13. Books

When reading textbooks gets boring it's nice to have books around that we actually want to read.

14. College Apparel

Finding time to travel to the bookstore isn't always easy, but we do love apparel.

15. A Polaroid Camera

While taking pictures on our phones is fun, it's nice to have polaroids to keep and decorate our rooms with.

16. Leggings

Once it gets cold, leggings and a sweatshirt are a go-to outfit for class.

17. Room Decor

Trying to create a home away from home is hard, but decorations make it easier.

18. Gum

Whether you bought the pack that morning or one week ago, gum always seems to disappear quickly.

19. Money

Probably the best gift any college kid could ask for at this point is money.

20. Sweaters

Throwing on a cute sweater in the winter is a simple way to create a nice outfit so having sweaters around is always handy.

21. Journals

College can be stressful so having somewhere to write down how we feel is a great way to alleviate some of that stress.

22. Face Masks

Relaxing and being able to put on a face mask is another simple way to help de-stress.

23. Sunglasses

Somehow we're always losing sunglasses and could always use another pair.

24. Bath Bombs

While these aren't usable while at school, they're a great way to relax in style when we come home.

25. Pens

Everyone loves having good pens to write with and after taking lecture after lecture of notes, we definitely need a large supply.

Whether you're shopping for a friend or a family member, any college girl may have some of these items at the top of their list. Hopefully this generates ideas and makes your holiday shopping a little easier.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
