I polled some of the people on Grace College's campus and asked them what questions they would like answered. Thanks to everyone who helped.

Grace College, your students would like some answers.


1. "First of all, how dare you?"

2. Is Grace REALLY a walking campus?

3. Why do we keep fifty-year-old Beta the way it is "for the community"?

4. Do you realize that good community in Beta can coexist with air conditioning and bathrooms that are up to health code?


5. Why do we keep profs that constantly get bad evaluations from students?

6. Why do we discuss marriage so much in FRESHMAN classes???


7. Why can't Alpha just fix the windows instead of making suffer from the heat (and cold!)?

8. Who decided that a meal plan is necessary if you attend a school?

9. Why is the creepy two-headed goat back in the Science Center window??


10. Is it necessary for the trash trucks to come so early on school mornings?

11. But really, can we can we fix the wifi?

12. Is it possible to Skype into my class when the windchill is -20??
13. Why is it assumed that everyone here is going to get married?

14. Can we get a ventilation system or something in Alpha Dining and the Grille so that I don't have to change my outfit every day after eating SINCE IT STINKS SO BAD?!


15. WHY DO SENIORS HAVE TO ATTEND ALL HALL MEETINGS?? WE ALREADY KNOW THE INFO.

16. Why can't our post office be open on Saturdays so we can get our packages?


17. Why can't we make every building handicapped accessible?

18. Why are we forced to take a class online and PAY the extra $225 fee when it isn't offered in class?


19. Why can't we have pets on campus?

20. Why is there so much drama in Omega?


21. Why. On. Earth. does the wifi never work?

22. Can you make the subtweeting stop?

23. Why do relationships with Jesus become competitions between people here?

24. When did spirituality/leadership start being equated with popularity?

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines.
