If you live in the South and you've never said one of these things, you may need to reevaluate yourself...just kidding (maybe).

1. "It is hot as blue blazes"

2. "Bless your heart"

3. "Wanna go to Chick-Fil-A?"

4. "Somebody needs to fix these roads, they're awful"

5. "I'm happier than a dead pig in the sunshine"

6. " Ya'll"

7. "It's fixin' to ______" (Fill in the blank)

8. "It's raining up a storm out there"

9. "Madder than a old wet hen"

10. "Over Yonder"

11. "I reckon"

12. "I'm full as a tick"

13. "Lord willing and the creek don't rise"

14. "God bless a milkcow"

15. "She's screwed up as a termite in a yo-yo"

16. "God is good all the time"

17. "Turn some country music on"

18. "I'm tickled pink"

19. "Let's go fishin' "

20. "Good Lord"

21. "Hand me the clicker"

22. "You're dumber than a sack of rocks"

23. "Well I'll be darn"

24. "I'm sweating bullets"

Living in the South is one big adventure, I tell ya!

But, while we celebrate what people like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Patrick Henry did for this country, they are not the only ones who embodied the very virtues that our nation loves to advocate for.
