Seminars can be some of the most exciting course options to take while studying in college. Professors who decide to create a seminar have created this course from scratch because they are highly interested in the special topic. As a result, seminars can offer some very interesting areas of study and perspectives that you otherwise may not have been exposed to in the general required courses for your degree.

While all seminars are designed differently, and ultimately left up to the professor's discretion, every once in a while the seminar is primarily discussion based.
