Turning 21 is a birthday almost everyone looks forward too. They say time flies when your having fun and my year being 21 defiantly went by way too quickly. This past year has been the ultimate roller-coaster and I would like to reflect on some valuable lessons I've learned.

1. You will have some bad days, but the good ones will make up for it.

2. Friends come and go...

3. ...But family will ALWAYS be there

4. Never sleep with your makeup on

5. It's okay to do things and go places alone

6. Stay out of drama that does not involve you

7. Pray before bed. Pray for your family, friends, and most importantly, yourself.

8. Be selfish, you can't please everyone.

9. Document as much as you can, life goes by too quickly and memories last forever.

10. Talk to your parents every day, vent, ask for their opinion, let them know you still need them.

11. Find a skin care routine and stick to it!

12. It's okay to be wrong, just learn from your mistakes and keep it moving.

13. There is no such thing as "going out too much" if you have your sh*t together.

14.Partying with your family is actually way more fun.

15. Find your happiness before trying to be someone else's

16. Don't let procrastination get the best of you

17. There is such thing as "outgrowing people" they might even "outgrow you".

18. Save money for memories.

19. You're never too old for anything.

20. Karma is real. People are mean, but that doesn't mean you have to be.

21. Forgiveness does not mean weakness, it simply means you were strong enough to get past it.

Being 21 opens up a whole new world. You can never be prepared for what life decides to throw, but cheers to another year!

Goodbye twenty-fun, it was one for the books... Can't wait to see what twenty-two has in store!
