For all you dog lovers out there: Have you ever had trouble deciding what breed is the right breed for you? Look no further for your answer: DACHSHUNDS ARE THE DOGS FOR YOU! Better known as wiener dogs, Dachshunds have a pretty cool history. Actually, a dachshund was the first mascot for the Olympics! Now, do I have your attention? That's pretty cool, right? Also, if you haven't heard of Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund. . . you should totally look him up on Facebook! To prevent more of my ramblings, here are 21 Reasons You Should Own a Dachshund: Starring my sweet girl Jovi!


1. Dachshunds love to snuggle!

No lonely nights with these sweethearts around!


2. They make great riding buddies!

I mean, who doesn't need an extra pair of eyes to watch the road?


3. Because...those ears!

Must be reset to factory setting multiple times a day.


4. They look cute in a basket...

For photo sessions, of course!


5. And on a blanket!

Especially if you're at the park!


6. They look great in family photos!

Because what family photo is complete without a cute little dachshund in the middle?!


7. They dress to impress!

Bows and bling!


8. They're not camera shy!

9. They have a lovable personality.

Sometimes crazy, sometimes calm, always lovable.


10. You can hold them like a baby.

Because who doesn't want to hold a puppy like this?


11. They are great at playing dead!

Side note: She actually fell asleep and her head fell backwards!


12. They love to make new friends!

Jovi meets Uncle Cooper!


13. They pick you flowers!

And you thought only your "human" child could do that!


14. They sleep like angels...

Precious, precious angels.


15. Sometimes!

We all have those nights!


16. They are the perfect models!

She takes after her mama!


17. They love to eat just as much as you do!

18. Those puppy dog eyes!

Seriously, I could melt...


19. They make great scarves!

I'm all set for the winter!


20. They love to play.
