Ah, procrastination. We've all been there. If you're in college... you know how it goes. You put off what you're supposed to be doing. You wait as long as you possibly can to do the task you need to do. Sometimes you do everything possible BUT the thing you actually should be doing. Here's some of the classic procrastination tactics we've all done (whether we admit it or not).
1. Facebook quizzes.
2. Checking your email.
3. Then continuously refreshing your e-mail, knowing very well you're not getting any emails.
4. Cleaning your room... the only time you'll clean it willingly.
5. Looking at any social media, especially one you don't normally check.
6. Trying out a new recipe.
7. Texting your friends repeatedly about how you are procrastinating.
8. Eating.... and then eating more.
9. Calling your mom.
10. Watching endless youtube videos.
11. Watching endless tasty videos on Facebook.
12. Napping "for just a little bit" before starting your work.
13. Netflix... need I say more?
14. Running random errands.
15. Organizing your drawers.
16. Making endless to-do lists, but not checking anything off.
17. Basically, anything that's kind of productive... but not the thing you're supposed to be doing.
18. Saying you'll start working at (insert time)...
19. ... but if you accidentally miss the time by a minute, you pick a new time to start working.
20. Googling "How to stop procrastinating"
21. Swearing you'll never procrastinate again.
I'd like to say one day I won't procrastinate. Unfortunately, I have not broken my cycle of procrastination. Maybe next time....
