2019 Mock Draft 2.0

With a week to go, here is my latest analysis of what may happen in this year's draft in Nashville. This mock draft does not include any trades, but that is in the plans for next week's mock draft, my final one this year.

1.Arizona Cardinals

1. Kyler Murray QB Oklahoma

Previous pick: Same

https://www.instagram.com/p/BrjlF51Hm7u/

This Seems to be the guy new coach Kliff Kingsbury wants so why not go ahead and get him. Kyler Murray is the reigning Heisman winner he is a QB and yes they drafted QB Josh Rosen last year, but I believe they will most likely trade him away.

2. San Francisco 49ers

2. Nick Bosa DE Ohio State

previous: Same

https://www.instagram.com/p/BnTvP6vnB6c/?hl=en

An all-around solid player who could really solidify the Defense in San-Fran. Although there has been recent publicity about his political views, I think it will be hard to pass up on this much potential.

3. New York Jets

3. Josh Allen DE/OLB Kentucky

Previous: Quinnen Williams DL Alabama

https://www.instagram.com/p/BvrvtJohJeV/?hl=en

This very explosive player constantly makes plays may almost be an upgrade in the long run from what Anthony Barr was going to bring in before resigning with the Vikings. He has great size and playmaking ability the Jets could definitely go with Quinnen Williams here as a previously said it will be a tough call, look for them to trade back as well.

4. Oakland Raiders

4. Quinnen Williams DL Alabama

Previous: Same

https://www.instagram.com/p/BwQhpHlFlOW/?hl=en

Quinnen Williams will be a steal wherever he is to go. He has a very high upside and is the best interior defensive lineman in the draft. He should make an immediate impact. This is something the Raiders need as they struggled to make plays behind or even at the line of scrimmage last year.

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

5. Devin White LB LSU

Previous: Same

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bnw--9FnWHS/?hl=en

Probably one of the best fits in this draft, the Buccaneers desperately need a playmaker at the Linebacker position and Devin White seems to be the guy. He has a lot of potential not many inside linebackers are sought out inside the top ten he is someone who will elevate a teams defense. Don't be surprised if other teams trade up for him.

6. New York Giants

6. Rashan Gary DE Michigan

Previous: Same

https://www.instagram.com/p/BctDLKlg_WR/?hl=en

The Giants can go a lot of ways, but they have two picks in the first round so they have to just play it smart. Rashan Gary can give the Giants the pass Rush presence they need on defense so I think he is the best pick here. They could reach for an O lineman as they struggled there last year or even draft a QB considering Eli Manning isn't getting any younger, and he is on the last year of his contract.

7. Jacksonville Jaguars

7. Jawaan Taylor OL Florida

Previous: Same

https://www.instagram.com/p/BwQOVt6FdOF/?hl=en

The Jaguars paid good money for a new QB this off-season, so the smart thing to do would be to protect that investment in Nick Foles. Jawaan Taylor is a pretty solid player and has good size. He would be a huge upgrade for this O Line.

8. Detroit Lions

8. Montez Sweat DL Mississippi St

Previous: Same

https://www.instagram.com/p/BosDuL1gBdO/?hl=en

Matt Patrica who is the Head Coach for the Detroit Lions loves Defense so why not really set the tone and go with Montez Sweat to compliment the 5yr 90 Million Dollar DE man, Trey Flowers on the other side?

9. Buffalo Bills

9. Ed Oliver DL Houston

Previous: Jonah Williams OL Alabama

https://www.instagram.com/p/BwFQefWFF1i/?hl=en

The Buffalo Bills have a need at Offense and Defensive line and while there are some good O-Lineman available with this pick I believe they should get a solid Defensive player in Ed Olive who was once thought to be the number one pick in this Draft. He has good size and technique and impressed people enough in college. He was in the Heisman talks a few times.

10. Denver Broncos

10. Drew Lock QB Missouri

Previous: Same

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bfmb3AEAebP/?hl=en

It's no secret the Broncos are fans of Drew Lock. This rumor has been pressing for months and the Broncos have not denied it, and while the Broncos traded for Joe Flacco this off-season and GM John Elway stated he is in his prime, I do not think that is the Franchise Guy.

11. Cincinnati Bengals

11. Devin Bush LB Michigan

Previous: Dwayne Haskins QB Ohio St

https://www.instagram.com/p/BoFosRuHXNQ/?hl=en

With Vontez Burfict out, there is a job opening at LB for the Bengals so why not go ahead and fill that void there? Bush is a playmaker who could really make an impact on that defense. The Bengals have some work to do all around and first-year coach Zac Taylor will look to make some changes. While it is rumored they will look to a new QB, I think they may give Dalton another year.

12. Green Bay Packers

12. Andre Dillard OL Washington St

Previous: TJ Hockerson TE Iowa

https://www.instagram.com/p/Brk2drynPGd/?hl=en

The Packers need to protect Aaron Rodgers' injuries have plagued him the last couple of years, and his age is starting to get up there while they can look to draft a playmaker like Hockerson here I think they should look to protecting the center of the offense first.

13. Miami Dolphins

13. Brian Burns DE Florida St

Previous: Andre Dillard OL Washington St

https://www.instagram.com/p/BjORDreHq6c/?hl=en

The Miami Dolphins seem to want to tank this next season unless they truly believe in Fitz Magic (QB Ryan Fitzpatrick). With that being said, go ahead and fill a hole on defense with a sure thing in Brian Burns. He is pretty solid Rusher, and Miami will be a good fit for him. They can worry about offense next year if rumors are true they are tanking to draft Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa next year.

14. Atlanta Falcons

14. Christain Wilkins DL Clemson

Previous: Ed Oliver DL Houston

https://www.instagram.com/p/BPIuh9Mh6Xf/?hl=en

The Falcons have needed to fill this hole for a couple of years now and while they may miss on Ed Oliver here they can get a pretty solid player here in Christian Wilkins, and as long as he isn't taking Steroids anymore. He should be a huge upgrade for there Defense.

15. Washington Redskins

15. Dwayne Haskins QB Ohio State

Previous: DK Metcalf WR Ole Miss

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bq5L6n7FLCJ/?hl=en

Sure Case Keenum is a good QB, but is he really the answer here? I think, no, and the Redskins have expressed interest in Haskins if he is available here. I think the Redskins will have to jump on it, and while they make it look like the Vikings a couple of years ago with three different QB's getting playing time, I think eventually it will work in Haskins' and the Redskins' favor.

16. Carolina Panthers

16. Jonah Williams OL Alabama

Previous Clenin Ferrel DL Clemson

https://www.instagram.com/p/BrToZ6VgUKq/?hl=en

Protect Cam Newton, as he isn't getting any younger, and you may have finally found him two good receivers. Focus on the O-line now and worry about Defense later, now while this logic usually doesn't work in the NFL the Chiefs proved it can last year.

17. New York Giants

17. Cody Ford OL Oklahoma

Previous: Daniel Jones QB Duke

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bsea-Jrh1qG/?hl=en

Worry about a QB next year when a guy like Justin Herbert who the Giants apparently wanted this year will be a safe place for him to go and let Eli Manning play like the 23.2 Million he is getting paid this year. A better O-line will probably help RB Saquon Barkley out a little too.

18. Minnesota Vikings

18. Garret Bradburry OL NC State

Previous: Same

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bq2QgD9APIQ/?hl=en

You paid QB Kirk Cousins last year and you paid WR Adam Thielen this year well now put someone in front of Kirk Cousins that will give him enough time to throw the ball to Thielen. The Vikings could look to go defense here as well.

19. Tennessee Titans

19. DK Metcalf WR Ole Miss

Previous: Noah Fant TE Iowa

https://www.instagram.com/p/BoXC5e0hKtR/?hl=en

The Titans don't want to watch a practice squad WR drop an easy pass again so look to add someone for Marcus to throw to in the final year of this contract. This way he won't have to run around as much looking for an open Receiver. Metcalf has good hands really excelled at the combine he can definitely improve on slants and other short routes that are adding him would help WR Corey Davis get open more.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers

20. Greedy Williams CB LSU

Previous: Devin Busch LB Michigan

https://www.instagram.com/p/BoXC5e0hKtR/?hl=en

With Bush off the board, the Steeler could look to add another playmaking WR to replace Antonio Brown or look to add a solid corner as it has been a couple of years and I think people miss the Steel Curtain, bring that tough Defense back.

21. Seattle Seahawks

21. Byron Murphy CB Washington

Previous: Same

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bd6MAVUHLk0/?hl=en

Richard Sherman, as well as the rest of the Legion of Boom, is gone, but with young corners like Shaq, Griffin, and Trey Flowers the Addition of a Corner like Murphy might bring that intensity back to the Secondary.

22. Baltimore Ravens

22. N'Keal Harry WR Arizona St

Previous: Same

https://www.instagram.com/p/BaSsegvAT0M/?hl=en

Somehow I saw these matching up in both of my mock drafts so far I think Harry has a lot of potential and young QB Lamar Jackson is going to need some more talent around him. Therefore, Baltimore will go the Safe Route get an all around WR like Harry to compliment the young QB.

23. Houston Texans

23. Jonathan Abram S Mississippi St

Previous: Cody Ford OL Oklahoma

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bp2SfdagURZ/?hl=en

With the one year project of Tryannu Mathieu not working out maybe its time to get a young guy who will be locked in for at least four years, and Abram has great playmaking ability he can almost play strong or free Safety like Mathieu.

24. Oakland Raiders

24. TJ Hokerson TE Iowa

Previous: Greedy Williams CB LSU

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bppc4qTjCXP/?hl=en

TE Jarred cook was the leading receiver for the Raiders last year, and with that being said he is gone now and the Raiders are going to have to find a new reliable target for QB Derrek Carr. The Raiders could also look to draft someone to revive there Defense here as well or even look for another receiver to pair with new addition WR Antonio Brown.

25. Philadelphia Eagles

25. Nasir Adderly S Delaware

Previous: Josh Jacobs RB Alabama

https://www.instagram.com/p/BtPgZz8luUU/?hl=en

The Eagles acquired a couple running backs via trade recently. With that being said it's likely they could pass up on RB Josh Jacobs. The Raiders need to look to add to their depth on defense, and Nasir Adderly may be the best Safety in the draft and would be a great fit here.

26. Indianapolis Colts

26. Clenin Ferrell DE Clemson

Previous: Christain Wilkins DL Clemson

https://www.instagram.com/p/BvhJMu5HWQg/?hl=en

I think the Colts will most likely focus on Defense in this draft as they went strong on offense this off-season. Whether that would be Clenin Ferrell or Christian Wilkins they would both be great additions to their young team, Clenin has more size and can play the edge better he most likely shouldn't fall this far but in the case that he does it would be great for Frank Reichs Colts.

27. Oakland Raiders

27. Jaylon Fergurson DE Louisiana Tech

Previous: Greg Little OL Ole Miss

https://www.instagram.com/p/BwTB5OAFSnz/?hl=en

The Raiders wait till pick 27, but still, pick up a really well-rounded under the radar player in Jaylon Ferguson. He has good size and makes good reads. He is quick off the ball and would really improve this Raider D, with the first year under GM Mike Mayock, who is usually writing his own mock drafts it will be interesting.

28. Los Angeles Chargers

28. Daniel Jones QB Duke

Previous: Deionte Thompson S Alabama

https://www.instagram.com/p/BwE_sdXFpC_/?hl=en

Philip Rivers is 37 and won't be getting younger anytime soon, so maybe it is time the Chargers find the man of their future. Brett Farve was also 35 when the Packers Drafted Rodgers at pick 25 if that says anything. Daniel Jones is very similar to Rivers in size and play style I think this would be great for the future of the Los Angeles Chargers. For the short term, the Charger should look to add a defensive playmaker or another weapon on offense so Rivers can finally get him a Super Bowl win and earn a golden Jacket.

29. Kansas City Chiefs

29. DeAndre Baker CB Georgia

Previous:Jachai Polite DL Florida

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bo7ZgkoHP6v/?hl=en

The Chiefs can look at a lot of positions on Defense as they had one of the worst defenses in football last year, and while the offense may have executed well, Defense wins Championships. Baker is a stud and would be great in the secondary along with their newest Safety Tyranau Mathieu.

30.Green Bay Packers

31. Noah Fant TE Iowa

Previous:Marquise Brown WR Oklahoma

https://www.instagram.com/p/BNPRZAygifh/?hl=en

The Packers find themselves a playmaker at TE. He ran a 4.4 at the Combine, and to put this in perspective, he is 6 foot 4 and 250 pounds. This would be a great weapon for aging QB Aaron Rodgers who is eager to win another Super Bowl, and new Coach Matt LaFleur, who is a big Offensive guy, will probably look for some good additions on offense.

31.Los Angeles Rams

31. Chris Lindstorm OL Boston College

Previous: Zach Allen DL Boston College

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bauuz0rAAsm/?hl=en

The Rams looked great last year all-around but they could use another solid offensive lineman to protect their young QB Jared Goff and RB Todd Gurley. The Rams are a pretty well-rounded team and most likely built for another Championship won potentially a win this time.

32. New England Patriots

32. Jeffery Simmons DL Mississippi St

Previous: Irv Smith TE Alabama

https://www.instagram.com/p/BomgFm4ASfX/?hl=en

The Patriots are Famous for bringing in under the radar talent on offense, and while Gronk retired, they already signed a journeyman TE in Austin Seferian-Jenkins so I think they will probably take a chance on a guy like Jeffery Simmons who might be a good replacement for DE Trey Flowers who left his off-season.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
