Coachella is an annual music festival held in Indio, California. It was founded in 1999, and since then has been known to hold many famous musicians, celebrity appearances, and fashion trends. As the years go on, it seems that Coachella goers have a certain look they try to achieve. As the 2016 festival kicks off, here are some trends that will be making an appearance on and off the big stage.

1. The big sunglasses

The bigger the better. Blocking out the California sun can be cute and fashionable, too.

2. Denim on Denim

2001 Brittany Spears and Justin Timberlake called, they want their outfits back. This classic vintage look seems to be turning heads still, even in 2016.

3. All white everything

White is the new black. White is a color that goes good with any accent color, hairstyle, and song.

4. Strappy Sandals

These gladiator inspired sandals have made a huge comeback, and it seems like they are here to stay.

5. Chokers

The more jewelry, the better!

6. Flower Crowns

Because what's a music festival without a good old fashioned flower crown?!
