1. How to
Get Away With Murder (Thursdays at 10 p.m.)
First and foremost, it is important to note that this is another show from Shonda Rhimes (a.k.a. producer of Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal), which means the story-line is nothing short of being dramatic and will surely grasp your attention! This legal drama follows Professor Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) and four of her law students as they solve murders and share complicated personal relationships, all while her students find themselves involved in a murder plot - and they must find out how to get away with it.
2. American Horror Story: Freak Show (Wednesdays at 10 p.m.)
While the series itself is not new, each season tells its own story – and if you haven’t started watching it yet, now is the perfect time! The story-line, set in Jupiter, Florida in the 1950s, follows a group of performers who are a part of the last remaining freak show. Each character has a distinct story of their own, yet all become intertwined together, when a killer clown is on the loose and out to get the traveling misfits.
3. Forever (Tuesdays at 10 p.m.)
This is a must-see TV show, as it tells the story (via flashbacks) of a man struggling to solve the mystery of his immortality – a mystery which he has been trying to answer for the last 200 years. Dr. Henry Morgan (Ioan Gruffudd) works as a NYC medical examiner and only his best friend Abe knows his secret – yet, someone claiming to know about his immortality (as well as claiming to be immortal himself) has been stalking him.
4. The Affair (Sundays at 10 p.m.)
This drama is unlike anything else currently on TV, as the story of an affair is exposed by the main characters explaining the facts as they remember them. This drama tells the story of an adulterous affair between Noah Solloway (Dominic West) and Alison Lockhart (Ruth Wilson) which starts when they meet in a small town, and are brought together by their personal struggles and mutual attraction to one another. As secrets are exposed, and their emotional story unfolds – it is clear that the affair will destroy two marriages, and might have a lingering criminal aftermath for some.
