20 Times Tina Fey And Amy Poehler Were Basically You And Your Sister

Y'all ready for this jelly?

1. When they reunite after being apart for so long.

Accurate all the way down to the butt pat.

2. When they sacrifice themselves for the other.

3. When they're each other's wing-woman.

4. When they find something of yours that you haven't seen in years.

5. When they go out knowing it's going to be a good night.

Nothing is better than taking over the world for a night with your sister.

6. When they give fashion tips to one another.

You need to break out of your shell, and your sister is the only one who can awkwardly force that to happen.

7. When they stop each other from doing something embarrassing.

But, if she doesn't get to you in time and you do embarrass yourself, you can bet that she'll be right there with you so you're not alone.

8. When they communicate by using their own language.

And when "other" people try to understand and join in on that language...

9. When one stops the other from doing something they shouldn't be doing.

You won't get away with much with a sister around. It may get annoying from time to time, but it's all in good intentions.

10. When one just needs to blow off some steam.

Oh yeah, this is completely normal! She does this all the time, just let her ride it out, she'll be fine.

11. When they know how to talk the other into doing exactly what they want.

Nobody knows your weaknesses quite like your sister does. This is both a curse and a blessing.

12. When they're each other's biggest supporter.

13. When one of them gets a love interest.

Of course you're happy for them! It's just, once they get all shacked up, they have less time for you. So obviously you'll resent the new "bae" for awhile.

14. When they both try to keep themselves together at an important function.

....because you know your parents would kill you otherwise.

15. When their parents tell them any news that doesn't benefit them.

Nobody likes when the parents decide to make these little changes like "selling the house" or "going on a vacation without you" or "putting you in charge of your own finances." Nope, no thank you!

16. When they fight.

This usually ends up with your parents telling you to make up and be nice to one another, so you do that... well, just in front of them at least.

But, eventually, you both make up and apologize, for real this time, because at the end of the day, you need your sister.

17. When one leaves the other as a family function alone.

How does one face all these relatives without their partner in crime?!

18. When one of them decides to go on an unwanted health kick.

19. When they surprise everyone with they're awesome choreographed sisters dance.

* Making it a New Years resolution to learn this dance. *

* Summoning my inner Tina and Amy. *

Just one more...

You can bet your bottom dollar that everyone is jealous of your sister dance.

If you don't have one, It's time to make one.

20. When they have each others backs, no matter what.

This dynamic duo may not be sisters by blood, but in the words of both Poehler and Fey:

Amy: "Tina and I, we don’t have any sisters. So we’ve rented them."
Tina: [Laughs.] We found sisters."

*Crying*

I hope everyone someday finds the Tina to their Amy.

For more Poehler and Fey fun, go see their brand new movie, Sisters, out in theaters now!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
