One of the best parts of starting off as a freshman at whichever school you go to is if you and your roommate get along. Lucky for me, I never met my her until Move In Day, and since then, we've become best friends.

Here is a list of 20 things to thank your roommate(s) for.

1. Thank you for being my go-to person.

Whether it has to do with school work, or something with family. You are always there when I need some cheering up.

2. Thank you for appreciating my weirdness.

I do not think we would work out living together, if you did not find my sense of humor slightly weird but funny.

3. Thank you for liking change as much as I do.

Whenever something big happens in one of our lives we both do not mind changing the room around, to have a different lay out. Even though we live in a box like room.

4. Thank you for allowing me to go through your closet.

It's as if I now have two closets of my own.

5. Thank you for playing off of my sarcasm.

I do not think we would be friends if you did not know that my sense of humor is me joking half of the time.

6. Thank you for going crazy with me on the weekends.

Whether it be going to a party or just having a wine night in our room, you always know how to make it a good time.

7. Thank you for our lazy Sundays.

Now I do not feel ashamed when I refuse to change from my pajamas and get out of bed.

8. Thank you for getting cook out and Dominos three out of seven days during the week.

They were right the freshman 15 does sneak up on you when you find yourself eating a cook out tray or a large pizza to much for your own good.

9. Thank you for appreciating when I am too blunt with you.

I guess its due to me being from the north and you having that southern hospitality.

10. Thank you for going along with my crazy ideas.

Yes, I am talking about tequila night.

11. Thank you for always being one call or text away.

Because you know when I send the 911 emoji that something is seriously wrong.

12. Thank you for sharing my love of cats.

Now I have someone who will go to the cat store everyday and playing with the kittens.

13. Thank you for being watching Netflix with me.

And for sharing the same love of tv shows with me, which mostly include horror or criminal ones.

14. Thank you for knowing exactly what calms me down when I am sad.

If it was not for you, I do not think I would make it through those nights.

15. Thank you for hating the orange popsicles so I could eat them all.

16. Thank you for those times you make my bed and put my laundry away.

Because even though I have a tendency to be very OCD, there are times that I am too lazy.

17. Thank you for making me laugh even when I do not want too.

And this mostly includes you falling or hurting yourself some how.

18. Thank you for taking away my drink when I've had too much.

Then bringing me back to the room and making me mac and cheese and putting me to bed.

19. Thank you for being my person.

Because without you I would not know who to go to at 1 a.m. when I need help, or who to watch Netflix with and eat junk food with. Without you, I would not be the same person that I am.

20. Most importantly thank you for making me not feel alone.

We always have each other's backs and for that college is that much easier.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
