Whether you've danced for a few short years or a lifetime, you've picked up a few habits along the way, between bobby pins, sequins, hairspray, and long hours in the studio, you have seen it all. Here are 20 signs that you're a dancer.

1. You practice your dances everywhere you go.

Grocery store, school, your basement ... it doesn't matter where you are. There is always room to whip out a few moves. Besides, aisles are the perfect practice areas.

2. You suffer from ugly feet.

Let's be honest; your feet go through hell at every class. Band-aids, gauze and tape are your best friends. And don't even get us started on preparing your feet for pointe shoes.

3. You cringe at people's horrible technique.

Bent arms, unpointed toes, bent legs? All big no-nos. In everything that you do there is always a wrong and a right.

4. You find yourself standing in fifth position.

You find yourself standing in fifth position whether you are on the dance floor or not. Most people would say it is uncomfortable but it feels natural to you.

5. You cut holes in your regular tights to make them convertible.

We all know the feeling we have after pulling our tights off our toes: sweet relief. Just grab some scissors and clear nail polish and those regular tights are your new best friend.

6. You find bobby pins everywhere.

Conair probably owes their success to your excessive buying of bobby pins. However, no matter how many you buy, when you absolutely need them they are no where to be found.

7. You're constantly buying new dance shoes.

Your parents constantly use the phrase, "you need new ones again?" You dance so hard that your shoes just cannot keep up.

8. You live in leotards.

You were definitely the talk of the studio when you came in sporting the latest design. And consider yourself lucky if your studio allows you to wear whatever color you like.

9. You have mastered the perfect bun.

A few minutes, some hairspray, hair ties, and bobby pins and you've got the perfect ballet bun. No fly-aways or bumps allowed.

10. You get emotionally attached to dances.

You practice all year for those three minutes on the stage. It saddens you once it is all over.

11. You mastered changing into your tights and leo in the back of your mom's car.

Bumps, turns, stoplights? You got this.

12. You hate when people spell "pointe" wrong.

It's "pointe shoes," not "point shoes."

13. Getting your first pancake tutu was everything.

This was a monumental moment that meant you had mastered straight legs and pointed toes.

14. You can quick change.

It is like its own talent. Your friends are always amazed how you can get ready so quickly.

15. The phrase "blood, sweat and tears" describes your dance life.

It holds true meaning in your life.

16. Your mom is more than a dance mom.

She's your taxi driver, therapist, nutritionist, seamstress, your photographer and your biggest fan. You would not be the same dancer you are today without her.

17. You have a funny dance shirt.

No matter how embarrassing the quote may be now, we can all admit we have owned one.

18. You have a large collection of old costumes.

No matter how hideous, beautiful, old, new, small or big, you just cannot let them go.

19. You get defensive when people say dance isn't a sport.

Dance has been there for you through everything. It has given you an outlet to express yourself and you have fallen in love with this art form.

Dance will always hold a special place in your heart. Once a dancer, always a dancer.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
