20 Reasons Why the First Few Seasons Of Grey's Anatomy Were The Best

1) Richard Webber was Chief. And even though Owen Hunt is awesome, Webber will always be Chief in our hearts.

2) Meredith always wore her “ratty, little Dartmouth T-shirt.” Little running jokes like her Dartmouth shirt, or Derek having a thing for ferry boats, and people getting all hot and steamy in the elevators made the series flow. We don't see things like that as much anymore.

3) Kyle Chandler, aka Coach Eric Taylor, made an appearance in one of the best episodes of all time: Season 2 episodes 16 & 17. Watch it and be in awe. Bonus: He comes back in Season 3.

4) Addison Shepard existed. Like duh, we notice you're gone and even though none of us were a fan of you at first, we learned how great you truly are.

5) McDreamy would always say, “It’s a beautiful day to save lives” and we’d all melt. (This is another example of the series' running lines that made us fall in love with Grey's.)

6) Speaking of Addison and Derek, the Addison-Derek-Meredith love triangle was genius cinema. It was also nice to have a season finale where no one died!

7) George hadn’t been hit by a bus and was still adorable. After George died, Shonda seemed to find it easier to kill off our favorite characters.

8) For example we are no longer blessed with Mark Sloane’s presence.

9) Or Lexie Grey. RIP Little Grey. She was so sweet.

10) And Alex was all happy with Izzie. It's still bizarre that SHE left HIM.

11) Christina Yang was a boss ass b*tch. Come back to us!

Like seriously, how could you not miss this face?

12) Arizona and Callie were happy together. When Calzona is happy, we're happy.

Thanks for ruining everything Peyton Sawyer.

13) Richard had both Adele and Ellis and only one of them had Alzheimer's disease.

14) Bailey was the leader of the interns and she rocked that hair cut.

15) Joe the bartender was classic. No one really knows where he went...

16) We got to watch Meredith and Christina be each other’s persons.

17) There weren’t annoying interns. Leah, Shane, and Mousey were THE absolute worst.

18) And Meredith and Derek were happy, especially on elevators.

19) How will we ever live in a world where these two aren't together?

20) The first seasons of a series are always the best because after the first few seasons...

But Grey’s will always be the best show out there and if you're a true fan, you'll stick around for the 12th season!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
