20 Reasons We Love Chick-fil-A
Chick-fil-A

The love that I have for Chick-fil-A runs deeper than the love I have for just about anything else! If you are anything like me, you never get tired of eating chicken. I could eat chicken three meals a day, seven days a week without any shame. So, I like to think that Chick-fil-A gets me on a more personal, deep level. Is it the friendly service from the staff or the amazing pickle ratio on the Chick-fil-A Original Chicken Sandwich that keeps winning us over? Trying to imagine life without a Chick-fil-A is like imagining no life at all. But, we should not go to such a dark place. Instead, read the reasons why we love Chick-fil-A. This list could be endless, but for the sake of simplicity, it's short.

Here is a list of reasons why we LOVE Chick-fil-A:

1. No sass when you ask for more than one sauce!

Because I do indeed need more than one sauce for a 12-count chicken nugget! Other fast-food places act like you're going to bankrupt their company if they give you more than 1 sauce!

2. "My Pleasure!"

The friendly greeting we all know and love!

3. "It's a great day at Chick-fil-A!"

"Yes, Karen, it is a great day!"

4. You never get tired of having their food!

Chicken is a staple food!

5. They give back to their community.

How many times have you saw a Chick-fil-A tent at a community fundraiser or driven to the restaurant and saw donation tables? This is yet another reason they are so great!

6. Waffle fries!

Yes, the shape of a fry makes it taste better!

7. Their milkshakes.

I don't even have to explain why. But make sure to try the cookies and cream one!

8. Accurate orders!

Have they really ever messed up your order? Maybe once, but seriously they're usually spot on! They even remember to put the straw in the bag!

9. Chick-fil-A calendar!

Free food, does it get any better than that?

10. Rewards from their app!

I don't know about you, but I get way hype when my circle fills up!

11. Extra pickles DONT cost extra!

Because load up my sandwich with them pickles yessss! For free!!!!

12. The workers are probably the most friendly people on the planet.

Which I would be happy all the time if I worked there too. I'm convinced grumpy people do not work at Chick-fil-A..they work at the place that says, "Go ahead" when you pull up to the drive-thru.

13. Dressing like a farm animal gets your free food!

If you dress as a cow on a specific day, you get free food! Moooo-ve over, I am heading to Chick-fil-A!

14. They are closed on Sunday!

Which is usually when my cravings kick in! But, Sunday's are for family time and I respect a company that holds that value.

15. They are a Christian company.

In the world we live in, it's nice to have a place that sticks to God.

16. Chocolate chip cookies.

These are amazing! Get one next time you're there! No regrets.

17. Lines go quickly!

The line could be backed out half a mile down the road and you will still get your food quick!

18. They serve chicken for breakfast.

Wake and chicken!

19. Chick-fil-A sauce!

Or as I like to call it, heaven in a package! Serious this stuff is the best sauce in the world!

20. Have you ever had a bad meal from there?

Yeah, the answer is NO!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
