20 Christmas Movies You Must Watch This Holiday Season

Christmas movies go way back, and they're a major part of the Christmas season. However, there are certain movies that absolutely cannot be forgotten, and they must be watched in order to truly get into the holiday spirit. In case you were looking for a good, classic Christmas movie to watch, here are 20 of the most memorable Christmas movies.

1. Elf

This is one of the most quotable movies you will ever watch.

2. The Grinch

Both versions of this movie are a must-watch.

3. The Polar Express

That's one train we all want to ride.

4. Home Alone

Probably one of the funniest Christmas movies ever.

5. A Christmas Story

And this would be THE funniest.

6. The Santa Claus

A great modern classic.

7. It’s a Wonderful Life

Good old classic.

8. Frosty the Snowman

Before there was Olaf, there was Frosty.

9. Miracle on 34th Street

Another classic that makes your heart melt.

10. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation

This movie is both frustrating and hilarious. (You'll see why.)

11. The Year Without a Santa Clause

One of my personal favorites.

12. The Little Drummer Boy

Pa rum pum pum pum.

13. The Nativity Story

This movie shows a different and more traditional side of Christmas.

14. A Christmas Carol

This has been done in many different versions for years, but the story of Scrooge will never fade away.

15. Rudolph’s Shiny New Year

Everyone's favorite reindeer.

16. Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas

Who doesn't love a movie with Mickey Mouse in it?

17. Christmas with the Kranks

Another great, modern comedy that is absolutely a Christmas classic.

18. White Christmas

It hasn't been a white Christmas in awhile, but one can dream (or watch this movie, instead).

19. Santa Clause is Coming to Town

Also, this is a good song to jam out to.

20. A Charlie Brown Christmas
