LUSH is a cosmetic store located all over the U.S, Canada and the UK. LUSH is special because of it's ethics.
How I feel in love
LUSH in San Antonio, TX (at the time) was only located in North Star mall so I'd never seen it. A friend one day offered me some lotion and the feel/smell left me with a great impression. So, naturally I had to know more. After I went home and did some research I found that it was "karma kream" from LUSH. later that month I took my 1st trip and bought my 1st product (little did I know it would become my favorite & a key part of my showering routine.) This purchase was none other than, "Honey I Washed My Hair" solid shampoo bar.
Yeah, you heard right a SOLID SHAMPOO BAR. It sounds weird, believe me I know but let me tell you a few reasons why I love it so much.
1. It's what LUSH likes to call "naked". That means no packaging. This means the aroma lingers around the room. So, that great smell you have in the shower will also be in where you choose to store it.
2. Quantity. One simple shampoo bar equals up to medium bottles of liquid LUSH shampoo. (AKA saving you $$) Also, it lasts longer.
I know but...don't get crazy.
Thus my love for LUSH began.
My love for a unique and beautiful soap turned into so much more. It turned into a chance, an opportunity and now an amazing life.
I'm now (2yrs later) a PAID LUSHIEE (AKA I work there <3)
BUT please believe me when I say that my words are not swayed in any way by my work. I truly love our products and what it does for everyone. GIVE IT A TRY you'll see for yourself!
When you visit a LUSH store for your 1st time there are some things you need to know.
1. Yes, we know you can smell us from down the block.
2. Don't be scared to TOUCH AND SMELL EVERYTHING. We want you to!!
3. Don't be scared to try something new, it was new for us once too (I mean.. you did just read my "1st time" story)
4. It's okay to not buy anything your 1st time. We want you to be happy, comfy and most importantly get what your body needs.
There is SO much more I can tell you but It's best if you find out for yourselves because everyone is different. Our bodies, what we like and don't like and what doesn't like us!
