Being a hostess can be a lot of work. Don't you wish that sometimes your customers could know how much you have to put up with? Here are 29 sings of the hostess life explained by "The Office."

1. When it's rush hour and the restaurant's jam packed

I can't even.

2. Watching customers relax and eat while you're stressed trying to complete a million tasks

I should at least be rewarded in food.

3. A few hours into your shift and you're forced to be peppy even though you’re dying from exhaustion

My cheeks hurt from fake smiling.

4. Having to make small talk with customers when you’re mentally checked out

"What was that?"

5. Having to work with that one co-worker you secretly hate

Trying to keep your distance best you can.

6. Tripping and stumbling while taking customers to their table

I'm trying over here.

7. Watching waitresses make serious bank in tips while you’re watching them like...

Still waiting over here!!

8. When you mess something up and have .5 seconds to strategize the best way to solve the situation before your manager finds out

Oh ****.

9. And when your manager and coworkers find out what you did and start being snarky about it

Oh come on! And you've never messed up?!

10. Spending half your shift wishing you were doing anything else besides working

Going to the beach sounds nice right about now.

11. And spending the other half trying to figure out what food to eat after work

Maybe they'll give me free food from the restaurant. *Continues dreaming*

12. When 60-year-old men hit on you

HA. No.

13. When your manager schedules you to work Friday and Saturday night

My life is non-existent.

14. When you spot someone you hate from school enter the restaurant

Duck and cover?

15. When your boss yells at you to be more enthusiastic

Show me money and you'll get the answer you so please.

16. Trying to politely deal with rude customers

Internally crying.

17. When you're overly exhausted so you go to the bathroom to take a good long look in the mirror and try to pull yourself together

Convincing yourself you look hot in the outfit you're required to wear, even when an attractive man enters the restaurant and sees you.

18. When your manager asks you to do a job that's not in your job description

Do I get a raise for doing this?

19. Working with that one hostess who takes their job way too seriously

Oh please. Stop trying to impress.

20. The mental anguish of struggling to hold in what's really on your mind

Just a few more hours and I'll be back at home with my true love, Netflix.

21. Sneakily whipping out your phone and getting severe FOMO from seeing all your friends' Snap stories

I'm going to pretend that I didn't just see that.

22. When the restaurant's been slow for hours but you haven't been cut so you just stand there like

Can I just go and eat?

23. Closing tasks

Almost there!

24. When customers come in five minutes before closing

We're closing!!!

25. Rolling silverware

I can do it in my sleep.

26. When your manager wants you to do a few more tasks but you already clocked out

*Mic drop*

27. When your feet ache after a long shift

Someone get me on a couch!

28. Looking in the mirror after you get off and realizing you looked like a hot mess all day

Oh, how wonderful.

29. Getting your check at the end of the pay period and realizing you're totally underpaid for all the stuff you go through

They couldn't even throw in some free food bonuses?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
