During the summer, there are many fun vacation trips you plan with your friends and family. Most people like the theme parks and getting out of the states. Yet, if you're like me, the only trip that really gets you excited is going to the beach. A beach bum, like me, would sit in a lot of traffic just to go sit at the beach for a couple hours. The boardwalks are just a plus if its by a beach.
My family trip to Myrtle beach, SC was my favorite family trip. Although South Carolina offers many exiting places to go, I would still want to spend a whole day at the beach. I also blame my beach bum-ness on the fact that my college is in upstate New York. There are no close beaches to visit, to my knowledge, around Ithaca College. So below are 18 signs that you're totally a beach bum.
1. When your friends suggest a getaway trip, your answer is always going to the beach
At this point they should already know your suggestion
2. You have to confirm all the details before going
Just to make sure everyone knows they are all committed to the beach
3. You suddenly become a morning person for just one day
Because the beach day is today.

You won't settle for sitting just anywhere

It would be weird for you to go to the beach and not get sandy
