I am a die-hard Gossip Girl fanatic. I followed the show from its very first episode to its last and now its been four years since the show officially ended. Every year since I rewatch the entire series because I just can’t find any other show to obsess over. There’s no other show that has gotten me hooked quite like Gossip Girl—they have everything from drama, friendship, relationships, fashion, humor and Chuck Bass. Throughout the years, I have found myself saving these quotes said by the Queen Bee herself, AKA my favorite character, Blair Waldorf and a few other of our favorite Upper East Siders.

1. “You can’t make people love you, but you can make them fear you.”

-Couldn't have said it better myself.

2. “Whoever said that money doesn’t buy happiness didn’t know where to shop.”

-Thank you, Blair.

3. “Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen.”

-You want something? Go out there and do something about it.

4. “Fashion is the most powerful art there is. It’s movement, design, and architecture all in one. It shows the world who we are and who we’d like to be.”

-THIS IS MY LIFE MOTTO.

5. “I pressed the closed button on an elevator door when I saw a woman running to catch it.”

-Guilty.

6. “We are not servants to our emotions. We can control them. Suppress them! Stomp them out like bugs.”

-Control is key.

7. “The Upper East Side holds all the comforts I desire. Clean sidewalks, people who’s job it is to open doors, but there is no you.”

-Aww, when Lily loved Rufus. Good times.

8. “I care about you. I mean I know I have odd ways of showing it. But I do.”

-Literally, me.

9. “Fut the wuck is she doing here.”

-When someone you don’t like walks in.

10. “I just want someone who can read my mind. Is that too much to ask?”

-But actually, though.

11. “Motive is irrelevant as long as our end game is the same.”

-Hhhmmm.

12. “You and I have known each other long enough that we are like family. Which means we have earned the right to hate each other from time to time but that doesn’t mean there’s still not love underneath!”

-My bestfriends and I.

13. “Do you have any idea the psychological torture that I have endured being nice to you?”

-LOL Blair is hilarious.

14.. “I have an idea for you: quit. Your boss is a bitch. Let’s go to lunch.”

-Hashtag rich girl probs.

15. “What we have is a great love. It’s complicated. Intense. All-consuming. No matter what we do and how much we fight, it’ll always pull us in”

-To my boyfriend, David. What we have is a great love.

16. “Once men have tasted caviar it baffles me how they settle for catfish.”

-I’ll never understand.

17. Haven't you heard? I'm the crazy bitch around here.

-Blair on Georgina, ahh gotta love Georgina Sparks, though.

18. I'm not a stop along the way. I'm a destination.

-This is so empowering.

And there you have it. Of course, quotes said between Chuck and Blair, well, that's a whole different story.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
