Being in as small of a town as Boone, we have all been to the same 6 bars enough times memorize the drink menu. In our numerous trips to these high-class venues, we have all most likely found ourselves in some of the same embarrassing, frustrating, and repetitive situations. So here is a compiled list of those way too common happenings, we all seem to find ourselves in.
1. Rolling up to the trailer bars and seeing lines that look like the town of Boone is having a census.
2. Running into your all besties in that, trailer bar, parking lot.
3. Getting half way through the ridiculous Klondike line only to have the bouncer tell you it's "one-in-one-out".
AKA, you are never ever getting in.
4. Getting way too excited when the line finally moves at Galileo's on Karaoke night.

5. Seeing your friend through the window while you're anxiously waiting in line.
So close, yet so far.
6. Jumping the fence at Parthenon only to have the bouncer ask you where your wristband is.
Runaway while you can...
7. Almost getting in over when your "friend" calls you by your real name and not the name on your fake.
8. All your over 21 friends saying they are going to TApp.
Guess I'll just stay here guys.
9. Getting way to into a song on the Klondike fire place
Get up on that fire place, and you'll feel like people came here to see YOU dance!
10. Seeing if you can fit one more friend in the Klondike bathroom.
*Knock, Knock* 15 GIRLS: "Almost done!" JEN: "It's Jen beotches, let me in." 15 GIRLS: "Oh my god it's Jen!!! Open the f*ckin' door!"
11. Realizing in that same bathroom that you need to take "Jen" home.
It's always in this bathroom that you realize one of your friends needs a beeper.
12. Having some creepy 7th year senior try to dance with you at Parthenon.
Nah, I'm good...sir.
13. Trying to slyly look up every trivia answer at Klondike on Tuesdays to win that Golden Pitcher.
How is your Google game, friends?
14. Having the "bathroom bouncer" at Parthenon stop you from going to the bathroom with your friends.
Always thought this seemed a little excessive.
15. Seeing the 45-year-old man with the VT baseball cap on.
Yeah ALE, you got us.
16. It's sunny outside...
I'm on the Klondike porch.
17. And in the end..
...you will always have some great memories from these bars.
Maybe next time you find yourself in one of these way to common situations you'll just laugh and think: "Would it be an App State bar any other way?"
