16 Struggles Of Being A Girl

We love it yet hate it all at the same time.

Although it can be the absolute best, being a girl can completely suck at times. From hair problems to mood swings, we feel that guys have it completely easier in life. If we could just take away all these daily nuisances we must endure, we'd be living the life.

1. That time of the month

For those who get mild cramps and pains -- consider yourselves lucky. The cramps aren't even the worst of it, the mood swings and acne breakouts

2. Wearing high heels all night

Although they can make us look our best, I'm surprised my feet aren't permanently deformed by the high heels I make myself wear.

3. Bad hair days

Hat days are inevitable.

4. Shaving

Completely necessary but razor burns and cuts in the most uncomfortable areas make us want to cry.

5. Waxing

For the times that we don't feel like shaving our bikini lines every other day, waxing is a must. But the process to get hairless is probably close to as painful as childbirth.

6. Eyebrow plucking

And for those times we can't get our eyebrows waxed, in order for our eyebrows not to look like hairy caterpillars, we must take action into our own hands.

7. When you get your nails done but left too early and they aren't dry yet

Who exactly has time to wait a good 10-15 minutes waiting for nails to dry? Sorry, but not me. Too many things to do, so little time.

8. Then you break a nail the day after getting them done

Flinching just thinking about jamming my perfectly manicured nail into a door or any hard surface.

9. Wearing a bra

Putting on a bra and wearing it all day may be the worst but taking it off at the end of the day is the most glorious feeling in the entire world.

10. Having a closet full of clothes but still feeling like you have nothing to wear. Ever

Never want to be an outfit repeater, but having no money and no space for any new clothes makes us sad.

11. When you cry and forget you have makeup on

Sometimes you can't help but have an emotional breakdown. Too bad our makeup can't help us out and stay perfectly on our faces.

12. When your hair tie snaps

\

Especially when it's the middle of the day and your hair has been up all day and it makes that ugly bump in the middle of our hair and yeah, it's the worst.

13. When you wear lipstick and you constantly have to make sure it doesn't get on your teeth

Or on food, clothes, people, etc.

14. Wanting everything in the store but only able to afford a headband

The world can be such a cruel place.

15. Uncontrollable mood swings

Sometimes we like being nice girls who want nothing more than world peace and pretty rainbows but other times we can act like complete psycho maniacs. Sorry, we can't help it.

16. Easily gaining weight

And it's even harder to lose it. Especially after a long winter pigging out to the most delicious yet fattening foods we could eat.

an image of taylor swift standing center stage surrounded by her backup dancers in elegant peacock esque outfits with a backdrop of clouds and a box rising above the stage the image captures the vibrant aesthetics and energy of her performance during the lover era of her eras tour
StableDiffusion

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
