The Internet finds the most random things to be hilarious: cats making weird faces, existential crisis jokes and, most of all, memes (So many memes). There are memes about everything, but some of my personal favorites are about Greek mythology: gods, goddesses and heroes, like Athena, Zeus and Odysseus. The messiest group of characters you will ever come across.

1. Some Greek myth posts are lighthearted and fun.

I don't know if Heelys are even cool anymore, but this is awesome.

2. Some are extremely relatable.

Laziness is a feature shared by all peoples in the past and present.

3. If this is not me, I don't what is.

A.k.a. me after every exam.

4. This might be the real reason Persephone ate the pomegranate.

I would stay in the Underworld, too, if it meant I didn't have to finish my 20-page final essay.

5. Sooo many myth memes are about Zeus and his...relations.

You name it, Zeus has slept with it: Gods, demigods, mortals and animals.

6. Here is another one.

8. I love when memes are politically up-to-date.

I doubt Trump has ever read a book, let alone could make references to The Odyssey.

9. Or feminist-inclined.

This isn't technically a myth, but it's too hilarious to leave out.

10. Sometimes Hestia, the goddess of the hearth, is the only sane god on Olympus

Hestia is definitely the Mom Friend, even though she's not even the goddess of motherhood.

11. And sometimes Achilles is the least chill of all the heroes.

Spoiler alert: he loses.

12. And then all the rest of the memes are all about Odysseus.

You have to know that one scene with the Cyclops pretty well to get it, but what happens is - actually never mind, the next post tells you about it.

13. So many "Nobody" jokes

Look how cute cartoon Odysseus is at the bottom! Much cuter than the Homer version of this story.

14. A classic meme for a classic piece of literature.

I'll still never get why like 100 dudes all tried to court Penelope at the same time. That'd be too much effort for me, man.

15. Even Athena can't handle Odysseus sometimes.

Poseidon hates Odysseus as much as I hate people who diss Harry Potter. So, a lot.

16. And my personal favorite, a Parks & Rec and Odyssey crossover. What could be better?

So, next time you're down because you've been trying to get home from the Trojan War for ten years, or because Zeus turned your girlfriend into a tree, just look over your favorite Greek memes and you'll feel better in no time!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
