As HBO's hit show Girls came to a close, I've been reflecting on just how much this show has impacted my life. Hannah Horvath is such a relatable character that I instantly felt a connection with her from the very beginning. From her unique style and witty sense of humor to her baffling mental breakdowns and her frequent need to make everything about her, I've found myself relating to Hannah more than I have with any other character.

This show has truly shaped me as a person and I've done a lot of growing up while watching it for the past few years. As Hannah once described herself, she truly is "the voice of our generation."
