To anyone who's graduating this coming year, you may be feeling nostalgic, freaking out, or completely content.
To me it seems like just yesterday I was at freshman orientation, not believing them when they "say it goes by in the blink of an eye."
Now here I am, a few weeks before my senior year, wondering how the heck I got so old?
1. Why does it feel like I was just a freshman last month?
2. How am I supposed to be an adult in a few short months?
3. I've gotten really good at procrastination over these past 3 years.
4. I now realize that ice cream runs are a necessity at least twice a week.
5. Why did my school decide to become so much nicer the year I'm leaving?
6. I wonder how much I've spent on alcohol over the years.
7. ...But then again, do I really want to know?
8. I've managed to survive on basically chicken nuggets and wine for 3 years. Survival of the fittest, am I right?
9. Wondering how I'm going to do all the fun college stuff I haven't been able to do yet in a year.
10. Realizing I won't be seeing most of my friends every day anymore.
11. Is day drinking frowned upon when you're an adult?
12. Yup, still going to day drink...
13. Remember the times when I drank coffee as a choice...? Yeah, me either.
14. I still call my mom almost everyday.
15. I love my school.
