15 Thoughts You'll Have At A Beyoncè Concert

This is Yoncè's world, and we're just living in it.

It's already an established fact that Beyoncè is flawless. Her concerts are almost as flawless as she is, and here are several of the thoughts that might cross your mind if you're ever able to see Queen Bey live.

1. Is this real life?

The entire experience of seeing Queen Bey in person is incredibly surreal. Reality is suspended, and time stops.

2. Why am I crying?

I am but a mere mortal, emotionally overwhelmed by the presence of an actual goddess.

3. How is she singing and dancing at the same time?

Does she ever get winded? How does she sound so good? It's kind of suspicious how she never sounds tired, even when she's running and dancing around the stage all night.

4. Why does her hair always look fantastic?

Anyone else's hair would be a tangled mess, but not hers. Work those wind machines, Bey.

5. Is Jay-Z going to come out?

The only thing better than Beyoncè is Beyoncè AND Jay.

6. How is it possible to make the live version of a song sound better than on the album?

Honestly, it's a little mystifying. She almost sounds better live.

7. I hope she sings "Countdown".

Waiting for your favorite song to be performed is a painful process, but worth it.

8. Seriously, though, how is she not out of breath?

Do we actually have proof that she's an actual human who needs to intake oxygen?

9. Blue Ivy is the luckiest baby in the entire universe.

Hey, Beyoncè, adopt me, please.

10. I can totally hit that note, too.

...and quickly realizing that scream-crying-singing and hitting high notes are not the same thing.

11. I'm breathing the same air as Beyoncè.

There has to be some sort of health benefit to breathing the same air as Mrs. Carter, right?

12. My life is peaking RIGHT NOW.

This is it. This is as good as it's going to get.

13. I'm still crying.

How am I not dehydrated?

14. I don't want this concert to be over.

Why can't she sing 700 more songs? I'll clear my schedule.

15. I can do anything.

There's something about hearing Beyoncè tell you you're beautiful, capable and worthy that makes you believe it unconditionally. You'll truly know that you slay, okay?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
