15 Things That Are Too Relevant If You Were A Belieber

“Every one of my fans is so special to me.” - Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber was the ultimate heartthrob of my generation growing up. I still remember hearing about him for the first time when my cousin was gushing over him and then completely falling in love. "Baby" was the anthem of 2010 when it became the most watched Youtube video.

It's hard to believe it's been almost 8 years since then. Some of us were just fans, but then there were the Beliebers. Admittedly, I was one of them and if you were a Belieber, you know these things to be the truth.

1. You begged for Supras.

I begged and begged for a pair of Supras because Justin was always spotted for wearing them. Looking back on it now, I'm glad my parents never gave in.

2. You were obsessed with the color purple.

Purple had never looked so good.

3. March 1st wasn't just an ordinary day.

God blessed the earth with Justin Drew Bieber on March 1, 1994. Sadly, I used to know the time as well which is embarrassing to admit, and so did every other person in the fanbase.

4. You knew every fact about him... and so did your family.

If you were like me, I talked about Justin so much my family grew to resent him. It even got to the point where they didn't want to be around me because I refused to acknowledge that there was any other person on this earth.

5. You relied on Sour Patch Kids and spaghetti as your source of nutrition.

Justin stated many times that Sour Patch Kids were his favorite candy, so naturally, you became obsessed with them too. Also, you asked your mom to make spaghetti as often as possible since Justin also said that was his favorite food.

6. You spent countless hours on Twitter running your fan account.

Ahhh, the days of my fan account. So much time was wasted trying to gain followers to prove that you were a "top account" which somehow made you one of the top fans.

7. You tweeted the most ridiculous things just to get Justin's attention.

I remember tweeting similar stuff to this, but I guess the ball was never in my court because I never got a follow or a reply.

8. You dreamed of being the One Less Lonely Girl he sang to at his concerts.

This was every Belieber's dream, and at the concert you were hoping and praying the whole time until he performed the song that one of the crew members was going to pull you from the crowd.

9. You defended him as if your life depended on it.

Anytime someone dissed him like saying he sounded like a girl, it was go time. No one messed with your man.

10. Kenny was your favorite bodyguard.

Anywhere Justin went, Kenny went. He was a fan favorite since he amusingly dealt with Justin's shenanigans.

11. The signature hair flip melted your heart.

Often imitated, never duplicated.

12. You wished you were from Canada.

Personally, I thought that I would have had a better chance with Justin if I was a fellow Canadian as well, but now I just laugh at myself for that one.

13. His movie "Never Say Never" played on repeat once it was out on DVD.

You also waited in a long line for the premiere, begged for your parents to let you see it almost every night when it was in theaters, and cried every time while watching it.

14. Beliebers were the best fan base out there.

You stuck together through the thick and thin, even if there was a ton of drama. When necessary, everyone united to continuously prove that Beliebers weren't a force to be reckoned with.

15. You swore you would never move on and would be by Justin's side forever.

And you did move on, but it's for the best. It was inevitable that at one point, you would need to either go to college or get a job, and that you could no longer dedicate your life to someone who has no idea you exist.

The Belieber years were the good years, but now we're on to bigger and better things.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
