With Thanksgiving rapidly approaching, it's officially that time of the year again. The time of the year we devote to recognizing the things or people in our lives that make life worth living. As we gather around the dinner table with our loved ones each year, we can't help but feel #blessed, but shouldn't we feel this way all year round? If you're lucky enough to have these 15 things, you should be thankful for them all the time, not just on Thanksgiving Day.

1. Good physical health.

For the ability to train our bodies to be capable of more than we ever thought possible.

2. Good food.

For being able to enjoy some good eats every now and then, not just turkey and mashed potatoes one day out of the year.

3. A highly valuable group of friends.

Come one or come all, highly prized friends are hard to find. Cherish them every day of your life and never let them go without hearing it.

4. Your closest loved ones.

You may question it sometimes, but at the end of the day, these are your people. The people who would do anything for you without a doubt. If you're lucky enough to have a support system of family, be grateful for them.

5. "Me-time".

There's nothing better than sharing life with someone else, but when some much needed "me time" is calling, it's a breath of fresh air.

6. Nights out with friends.

For when you need to get out of the house, put on an outfit that makes you feel incredible, and dance all night with friends; be thankful for this.

7. Nights in with friends.

Being thankful for the little things in life, like mani/pedis with the girls or homemade face masks.

8. Warm coffee.

If you need a good 'ole cup of jo to get your mornings going, be thankful for the warm cup after cup you consume like clockwork.

9. Good wine.

Sometimes good wine comes disguised in the $5 twist off bottle from Target; give thanks.

10. Furry friends.

They deserve some recognition for many reasons. One being they don't have to run to the front door to greet you every time you enter your home, but they still do.

11. A career.

Whether you've already landed your dream job or you're in progress of doing so, be thankful for the resources that helped you get to where you are. Even if that involves thanking yourself.

12. Hobbies.

You know, those things that keep us busy when we're dying of boredom. Or the things we turn to when we need to let off some steam. Always appreciate your hobbies.

13. Phone calls with someone you miss.

Nothing compares to hearing the voice of someone you miss dearly.

14. A strong relationship.

When the one you've been waiting for your whole life comes along, everything changes; don't ever forget to be thankful for this.

15. Sunsets.

The beauty of a sunset makes you appreciate the beauty in everyday life, no matter how big or small.

What are you thankful for, this Thanksgiving and every day?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
