The moment you step foot into a two/four-wheeled automobile of your choice, you are bound to run into traffic. A very small percentage of people in the world start the ignition of their vehicle hoping to run into traffic. For a countless number of reasons, summer seems to have the most gruesome traffic. Whether you appreciate being stuck in amidst of traffic or completely despise it, traffic seems to be an unavoidable aspect of working a typical 9-5.
- First and foremost, WHY is there traffic. Sometimes it feels like traffic is created just for us when we need it the least.
- As much as one loves traveling, how does one gather the patience stuck bumper to bumper after a long day at work.
- Good thing I only have to worry about this traffic over the summer. #summerintern
- Why did I think it was a good idea to take this job?
- While some of us are coming back from a 9-5 work shift, I am ridiculously jealous of the others are driving home from a nice, long and relaxing day at the beach.
- How many more times can the radio play JB’s “Love Yourself?”
- For those of us who have no shame, are people actually watch me sing along to “One Dance?”
- You see your dream car drive by and your heart cries a little.
- Why does the guy next to me have the audacity to think he can snake his way through the endless line of cars?
- Is the concept of a motor vehicle moving forward that hard to grasp after 5 pm?
- Can Tesla create a car with wings so I can magically fly over these cars?
- It feels like hours for the time in your car to change from 5:46 to 5:48 pm.
- You notice the small pile of Dunkin straw wrappers and old receipts that accumulate in the back seat. Maybe it’s time I cleaned my car…
- You have the AC blasting on at the lowest temperature possible. However, the intense sunrays still seem to make your car sweltering hot.
- Maybe if I make it home by 8 pm, I can just skip dinner and eat dessert.
Once you finally make it home, you think you’ve conquered the day… yet you know less than 24 hours later, you’re going to have to make it through miles of standstill traffic again.
