Everyone has that playlist that they listen to when they are in their room by their self or had a long day. Sometimes these songs are a little sad. All music tells a story and sometimes it is that sad song that helps you feel better. Here are some of the songs I listen to when I need to clear my head.

1. "Angels on The Moon" by Thriving Ivory

"Don't tell me if I'm dying, 'cause I don't wanna know if I can't see the sun, maybe I should go, don't wake me 'cause I'm dreaming of angels on the moon where everyone you know never leaves too soon,"

2. "Astronaut" by Simple Plan

'Cause tonight I'm feeling like an astronaut sending SOS from this tiny box, and I lost all signal when I lifted up, now I'm stuck out here and the world forgot. Can I please come down? (come down) 'cause I'm tired of drifting around and round (and round) can I please come down?"

"Lord when I die, I want to live on the outskirts of heaven."

4. "When I Get Where I'm Going" by Brad Paisley ft. Dolly Parton

"Yeah, when I get where I'm going there'll be only happy tears, and I'll sed the sings and troubles I have carried all these years, I'll leave my heart wide open, I will love and have no fear, Yeah when I get where I'm going don't cry for me down here."

5. "Lightweight" by Demi Lovato

"I'm a lightweight better be careful what you say, with every word I'm blown away, you're in control of my heart."

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
