I love online shopping. I don't necessarily have to buy anything, sometimes just having a few items in my shopping cart can keep me satisfied. Is it the deals? Is it spending money? I think there're quite a few aspects that make online shopping so addictive.

1. Ordering something online and having it show up at your house is like sending yourself presents.

Treat yourself. Am I right?

2. You don't have to get trampled or weave through crowds online.

There is absolutely no need to feel crowded if you can avoid it.

3. You can pretend your friends are sending you packages. Friends do include Amazon.

Getting mail is nice, okay?

4. Amazon Prime gets you stuff fast.

And your packages usually get there by the guaranteed time.

5. If you have a gift card, you can really budget and find the best deals.

Why does it feel better to spend money that was gifted to you?

6. Sometimes online deals are better than store deals.

You can put in as many coupon codes as possible? Yesssss.

7. Finding out how much money you rack up in your shopping cart can be fun.

Do this at least once for fun and for science. Then get rid of the things you don't really need and you'll feel like such a good little online shopper.

8. You can bookmark things for later. You don't have to buy it right then.

Even if it's nothing you would ever buy, it's there waiting for you if you're ready.

9. You can be in your pajamas and in bed.

A personal favorite.

10. If you're a night owl, you can go shopping at midnight and it's not a problem.

Sometimes I'm not in the mood to shop until after all the stores close. The perfect solution is online shopping.

11. You can to listen to the music you want to hear, instead of cheesy elevator-like music.

I'm not saying it's bad music, but I'd rather not hear Kidz Bop while I shop.

12. No waiting in lines.

Sometimes the lines are the worst part of a shopping experience.

13. You don't have to hide from those people you went to high school with.

What? You haven't use a rack of clothing to hide before? Or looked really enthralled in a pair of sneakers you're not going to buy?

14. Sometimes, there's more options online.

You didn't even know that shirt came in blue, did you?

15. You can take a break while you're shopping online and everything's all still there in your cart.

Sometimes you need an hour to calm down and decide if you're actually going to make a purchase. If you leave your clothes in a physical store, they're going to hang that stuff back up.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
