Admit it, we all secretly love taking selfies and posting them. It gives us some sort of confidence booster.
However, we all know how hard it is to get that perfect shot. Here are some thoughts that run though my head when I’m trying to take a cute selfie. I’m more than positive you can relate.
1. You spend minutes moving your phone around your face trying to find the best angle, looking like an idiot.
2. Taking your selfie quick in case someone walks in on you.
3. Flipping your hair from one side to another, making it messier each time.
4. When editing the red dots out of your eyes, and the tool on your phone can’t ‘notice the red’ so you are stuck with one normal, and one red eye.
5. When you really can’t decide between the black and white, or color filter.
6. Taking what seems like hundreds of pictures, and none of them are to any of your liking.
7. You sit and stare at that one selfie that is good, until all of a sudden it looks bad.
8. When no other place in your room/house looks good for selfies, so you always use that one spot, and all of your selfies kind of look the same.
9. Deciding if you should do something with that one free hand or not.
10. Taking a selfie in a big public bathroom mirror and people walk in on you (happens every time).
11. Changing your shirt, and not your pants just to take a picture.
12. Changing your facial expression every other photo to see if a serious selfie will be better than a smiling one.
13. Having that one serious selfie posted and you hate it, but still haven’t taken it down.
14. When it’s too dark and you have to use the flash on the back of your phone because the front flash just isn’t doing you justice.
15. When you literally look perfect on screen and then you press to take a picture and it says “storage is full”
But does this stop us from taking selfies? Of course not.
