Legally Blonde recently celebrated its 15th anniversary, and who besides Elle Woods is more qualified to give us life lessons. Harvard Law's finest is the perfect example of why you should never judge a book by its cover.

1. Never let a guy make you think you're not enough.

2. Boyfriends come and go but your dog will always be your best friend.

3. Always stay up to date on fashion, you never know when it may be useful.

4. Trust your elders.

5. If you exercise you will be happy and happy people don't shoot their husbands.

6. If a guy knows what season your Prada shoes are he is probably gay.

7. Have standards.

8. The bend and snap has a 99% success rate if used properly.

9. Don't be afraid to stand up to bullies.

10. No one can tell you that you can't do something.

11. Orange is NOT the new pink.

12. Never get your hair wet after a perm.

13. Always put your best foot forward.

14. Know what your priorities are.

15. Always have faith in yourself.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
