Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a music addict. I am willing to embrace nearly any genre and any band, and along the way I have become a dedicated fan to a handful of artists who mean the absolute world to me.
A band named La Dispute is one of these.
A few years ago I was recommended this band who's wikipedia page reads the following; "La Dispute is an American post-hardcore band from Grand Rapids, Michigan, formed in 2004. The current line-up is vocalist Jordan Dreyer, drummer Brad Vander Lugt, guitarist Chad Morgan-Sterenberg and bass guitarist Adam Vass."
Ever since my ears have been blessed with their sound I have been completely hooked. They're one of those "saved my life" bands. No joke. If it weren't for them, their inspiring quotes, and their rad guitar riffs, I probably wouldn't be here today.
I've yet to afford concert tickets to see them live, but one day man... one day.
Meanwhile, I have compiled a list of quotes from various La Dispute songs that hit home for me, either personally, or emotionally. Regardless, these are all quotes that one day, my arts and craft side of myself will embroider onto a pillow. One day for that too I guess. Enjoy!
