As an avid "Big Bang Theory" watcher and fan, I definitely respect it when Sheldon says something that 100 percent relates to life at Mount Holyoke — and any other college, I'm sure. After buying a "Big Bang Theory" poster in my first year, I started to realize how much confidence it gave me to read some of Sheldon's quotes and know that he and I had so much in common. Here are 15 of those moments where he just completely, totally and ultimately understood my life.
1. When someone asks you what you're going to do with your "useless degree."
I'm going to make a living, that's what!
2. When someone tells you to smile more often.
Do I look happy to you?
3. When a professor uses the wrong pronouns in a class.
Sometimes they at least TRY to get it right.
4. When someone tries to argue with you, but you know you're right.
Ahem, I promise you; I'm not wrong.
5. When you're forever alone on big, romantic holidays.
Love, love is everywhere... but right here.
6. When you're trying to find something awesome in the free bin!
You're going to look fabulous, but at a real low cost.
7. When you really want to cry but you make a stupid joke instead.
Hahaha. I'm so funny. I'm totally not crying right now. Nope.
8. When the professor calls on you and you weren't expecting it.
It better be sarcasm because I didn't hear a word you said.
9. When there's that one person who actually did all the assigned readings.
"What did you do this weekend?"
"I watched Netflix. You?"
"Oh, I read all 600 pages of the reading."
"Ohhhh."
10. When you're trying to flirt.
*insert really nerdy pick-up line here*
11. When you've pulled an all-nighter to finish a paper.
Ah, the feeling of utter exhaustion and sweet, sweet accomplishment.
12. When someone takes your seat in class.
That's where I sit. Could you please move to another free seat? Thanks.
13. When you have to wait in a long line for brunch.
Brunch is the most important meal of the week. This is serious!!
14. When your roommate wants to stay in.
However, if ice cream or chocolate are on the table, maybe it'll work out okay.
15. And finally, when you are having the best day ever!
Sheldon Cooper, PhD for the win!
