Junior year for sure has its' ups and downs. Prior to this, you could fool around and have some fun. But as your graduation date gets closer, you may realize that adulthood is upon you and there is no escape. From work to school to friends, it doesn't get any easier. Lucky for us, Abby and Ilana understand the struggle.
The beautiful moment when you and your friends finally reunite after summer break.
You're older now and have internships and jobs to cater to, meaning summers aren't fun anymore and you'll probably be apart from your friends.
But at least you're 21 now, so going out is so much easier.
No cover and no need for a fake — you're free at last.
Except the baby of the group, but no worries they'll keep up.
Flasks on flasks on flasks.
Though hopefully you've learned some self-control from freshman year.
Freshman year means free alcohol, and free alcohol means crying, sweating, and *fun* memories.
Speaking of friends, you've spent years bonding and feel no need for boundaries.
You've probably lived together or atleast spent a few ugly-crying sessions together. There are no secrets and definitely no embarrassment in your relationship.
As far as school goes, you have no time for literally anything.
Being young, you have that craving to do great things and accomplish your goals. This becomes difficult with three papers, other schoolwork, jobs, internships, interviews, clubs, sleep, friends, proper nourishment, and whatever else you packed on.
And it may be your third year, but 8 a.m. classes don't get any easier
If you've learned from your mistakes you don't even bother registering for classes before 9 a.m. You know you'll just end up skipping the entire semester.
But you did finally take that women's studies course.
It was definitely an easy A, but you probably learned more in that class than your last two years.
And if school is going pretty well, you might just land yourself your first *real* job interview.
This is the moment that represents all your hard work and efforts throughout your previous years. There are no jobs out there, so you better hope that, "charming idiot," is exactly what they were looking for.
And finals? Nowhere close to easy.
And then you ate the whole cake. Because life is hard and so are finals.
Working out is no longer a joke. You actually do it sometimes now.
You've learned from freshman year that beer equals tighter jeans. You attend more regularly now, or at least when you don't have mounds of work to do. But when you do go to those gym classes you're always the embarrassing one in the back and you know it.
You're also probably working for free, so doing fun things are out of the question.
That internship you worked so hard to get will look great on your resume. However, your wallet won't be as grateful.
Lastly, graduation is so close you can taste it and you can't help but fantasize.
One day there will be no more pain. No more GPA. One day.
