Most ponytails tend to be imperfect because of of those pesky little hairs that refuse to stay put. This problem can easily be solved with just a toothbrush and some hairspray. All you need to do is spray the hairspray on the toothbrush and comb the title hairs back into place.
2. Brush And Sniff
Instead of wasting all your perfume by spraying it all over your hair, spray it on your hairbrush. It will save you perfume and evenly distribute the scent as you brush your hair!
3. Tape + Nails
Painting your nails can sometimes be messy, but instead of going out and buying liquid nail tape for an easier clean just use Elmer's Glue. With a small paintbrush coat the borders of your nail, let it dry, paint and peel away. No more messy nails!
4. Rapid Nails
Don't waste your time waiting for your wet nails to dry, cut the time in half by just dipping them in cold water. Let your nails dry for two minutes and then dip them in a bowl of ice water for three minutes. The cold temperature will set the polish onto your nail and will harden it.
5. Eyeshadow To Nail Polish
We all have a certain eyeshadow color we don't use because it's a little too risqué. Instead of throwing it away, turn your eyeshadow into nail polish. Scrape out the eyeshadow and mix it with clear polish and viola! You have a new bottle of nail polish.
6. Sweat Be Gone
You don't need to sweat about sweat stains anymore. A little water and lemon will do the trick! All you need is equal parts lemon juice ad water, then apply the solution to the affected area.
7. One,Two,Three,Teeth Clean
Give your wallet a break for whiter teeth and grab some lemon juice and baking soda. You're going to need a few teaspoons of baking soda and lemon juice, the mixture should come out as a paste. Apply the paste to your teeth with a toothbrush and let it sit for one to two minutes and rinse.
8. Easy Stain Remover
Do you have foundation stains on your shirt? Clean it up with some shaving cream! Dab a little bit of shaving cream on the stain with a wash cloth and watch your stain disappear.
9. Last Minute Eyeliner
Run out of eyeliner? Don't freak out, just use mascara as an impromptu gel eyeliner!
10. Bye-Bye Lipstick Marks
Say goodbye to lipstick marks on your teeth with just one thing, your finger! If you're feeling a little daring but only have basic lip colors, don't go running to the store, just grab some eyeshadow and petroleum jelly. All you will need is 1 tablespoon of petroleum jelly and about 1 teaspoon of eyeshadow powder. Add the mixture into a microwave safe bowl, heat until it is runny and mix it all together. Add the to an empty chapstick or lipstick container, let it cool and harden and apply!
13. DIY Matte Lips
Matte lipstick has become a popular trend in the makeup world, which has caused a increase in its prices. Instead of spending a ridiculous amount of money on buying a whole new variety of lipstick, put that money back in your wallet and follow these simple steps. You will need a tissue, translucent powder and a powder brush. First, apply your normal lipstick or gloss of your choosing. Then, tear a piece of tissue about the size of your mouth, peel away one layer until you have a see through piece and place it over your lips. Lastly, take your powder brush and lightly dust the powder onto the tissue paper, then peel away the tissue and enjoy!
