With a lot in common, it made sense that Carrie Bradshaw was my favorite character out of "Sex and the City." She’s driven, spunky, mature, a fashion goddess, witty, and a writer. For those of you who haven't ever watched the show or the movies, not only do I feel sorry for you, but you're honestly missing out. You're robbing yourself of a wild friendships, some of the prettiest and ambitious women, desirable sexcapades you're wondering why it hasn't happened to you...yet. As if their lives weren't already envious, the live in the city that doesn't sleep. Who hasn't thought of living in New York at least once in their lives? Here's life advice from one of my favorite ladies, Carrie Bradshaw.

1. When you're trying to justify all the clothes you own

My bank account may be empty, but my closet isn't.

2.When you need to leave the past in the past

I think this one is pretty self explanatory.

3. When you think you're ready for a relationship, think about it first

I can't stress this enough. You have to love yourself before you can love somebody else.

4. Those moments when your family asks if he's your "boyfriend"

Like why do you have to ask me?! Who needs a label?

5. Fan of solving your own problems?

I'm too independent to "need" help solving my problems.

6. We all know water is important but...

We've got to give water more credit

7. Feeling down about being single?

It's okay to be single! It's not a bad thing.

8. That moment when you'd rather stay in

Ever gone out and wished you had stayed in bed binge watching a show on Netflix?

9. Running not for you?

Let's be honest, we all hate cardio...this way it's more fun.

10. Keep your friends close

And no we're not talking Taylor Swift here...

11. When your ex randomly shows up and opens old wounds

Could you, ya know, not do that?

12. Stop worrying about other people's pasts

I'll tell you right now, you will never be happy if you hold onto the past too much

13. what are the chances?

You just had to be here when I forget my big sunglasses to hide my face, didn't you?

14. Long day?

There is nothing wine can't fix.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
